I took two Internet cheap tests this morning as I'm off the pill and haven't had any periods yet. At first I couldn't see anything but when I looked again I thought it looks like a shadow or maybe a hint of something. I did 2 more and they also had similar. Are they reliable tests or are they just usually like this. The photos probably don't show up much but in real life it's more obvious.

I'm afraid the internet pregnancy tests are a bit notorious for false positives -or rather for evaporation lines. If the line is a different colour to the control line or comes up after the maximum time then I'm afraid it's more likely to be an evap. Try a superdrug test -cheap, early (sensitive) and very reliable. Clearblue digital also good but much less sensitive so don't usually show up until you're due or late. Good luck!

Seconded about getting a frer - in early December I thought I could maybe see something on an Internet cheapie, but it was so faint I couldn't even tell if it was pink or grey. I did a first response that lunchtime and no mistaking it! I've done several cheapies since and they do take longer to get darker. Now at 7 weeks they're finally as dark as the control line! Good luck x

Does it have to be first response early result? I've seen first response but haven't seen the early result ones! I have no idea about dating this as my periods have still not returned after being off the pill for 6 months

I had very dry faint lines on ic. I'm 28+3. Like others though, I got slightly more expensive ones.

I don't see a line on the phone but it is hard to tell. If you think you've seen a line on a few then that's a good sign. Hopefully you'll get a clear bfp today!

So stressed I can see it so clear on the Internet ones and then just got a first response normal not early result and it was negative! So confuesed

hi hun, i have these cheap tests and find them impossible to tell. I keep thinking I see a line but I actually think it's just where the line SHOULD appear rather than it actually appearing- if that makes sense. I've bought a couple of cheap tests from Savers and intend to use them instead as I really can't see the cheap ones from ebay actually being that reliable :S Good luck xx
