Hello! We've been TTC for a long time, had 28-29 day cycles for four years consistently. I've never been pregnant and I'm not taking anything other than folic acid. Recently had results from all fertility tests they found nothing wrong. So basically I'm late when I'm never late but I've had four BFNs. Is it possible I could be due a BFP? I'm trying to stay positive but not too hopeful.
I feel fine, no AF symptoms but no pregnancy symptoms that I've noticed.

Thank you :)

Depends if you know you ovulated, or just thought you did....Have you been using OPKs, or temping? If you haven't, then it's possible you're having a rogue cycle, and ovulated later than normal/ didn't ovulate at all (it's surprisingly common- my cycles are always and have always been 26/27 days, then I had a 42 day one this May Hmm).

If you know you definitely ovulated, and when.....well, then you could be in with a chance....it's not unknown to have either a late BFP, or never to have a BFP at all, yet have pregnancy confirmed with a blood test at the doctor's (but it is rare, though).

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I believe i ovulated but I could be wrong. I didn't use OPK or temping but I always get ovulation pain and watch for the appropriate cm. I did see others talking about not ovulating but most had just stopped using birth control or had irregular cycles so I wasn't sure it was likely as I am usually so regular but I suppose it's very possible that I have.

I have had 2 pregnancies. (1 MC at 12w and one lovely DS).

I have 28-29 day cycles and always know when I ovulate (it's crippling)

Both times I didn't get a BFP before 21 DPO (and was v feint for a couple more weeks, FMU and everything). So it is possible, but not usual I think.

Sorry to hear about your mc but happy to hear about your dc! That's positive news!

Ovulation pain is awful isn't it, worse than AF pain for me.

The pain and the CM can be just your body gearing up, sometimes....nearly there, and then the egg doesn't quite pop...."Taking Charge of your Fertility" is a great book on this subject, and there's a website too: //www.tcoyf.com - perfect for obsessives!

I guess it's just a case of sitting around and waiting, now....hope you manage to stay sane xx

My best friend called round last night to tell me she's pregnant. I'm so happy for her but I felt so guilty because I feel like our situation makes people so nervous about telling us that it takes the joy out of this happy occasion. I'm also obviously a tad jealous, but happy. None of that makes any sense :(

Aw....((hugs)). Crucial not to overthink it, I think. Just plaster a big smile on, say "I'm so happy for you!" with all the sincerity you can muster, endure 5 mins of pregnancy chat, then lead the conversation on to something else ASAP......Still in BFN limbo?

Yes, still there! I've got good at being happy for others. Been ttc for 4 years more or less. I'm used to the disappointment when AF arrives I just think onwards and upwards but this not knowing is weird and unusual lol.

Thank you for the much needed hugs :)
