Irregular period success story-I think?!

Well this is my story so far-thought I'd leave a thread as I was constantly looking for information about irregular periods etc.. I came off the pill end of October 2013, had withdrawal bleed and then only 5 periods the whole year, GP thought I had PCOS as a bit overweight and irregular periods (no other symptoms), I tried acupuncture which did bring on a period but didn't regulate them so stopped as it is quite costly. Asked to be referred for a private consultation and got a scan on the NHS, after scan and blood works no indication that I had PCOS, consultant said that DH had to have a SA before any further investigations, so he went for a SA, haven't had the results back yet but on Saturday afternoon I had a BFP-it came up straight away, did again early morning today same thing BFP. Still can't believe it as this means that I ovulated on CD16 for the first time in a year. The only thing that I can think of is that it took a year for the pill to completely leave my body as I was on the pill for 14 years. I really do hope that it is a BFP and that everything will be ok. Just wanted to maybe give some hope to others that are having irregular peiods with no explanation. The only thing I did this cycle was really take notice of my CM. And as someone waiting game on a pcos diagnoses...Thanks! I don't think I have it but always good to know :)
