How reliable is cervical position vs. tests

Such a delightful subject I know but I've been reading in to cervical position and mine is super high and soft like I've never felt before. AF is a week late, I've had none of my usual pre period symptoms and I'm exhausted all the time. I've taken a couple of tests and they were negative. Am I living in a fantasy land and hoping for things that aren't there or could the tests be wrong?

cervical position is not a way to detect pregnancy, but can help indicate when you are ovulating. HTH

You are right OP. Your cervix will be higher and soft if pregnancy is achieved. It is however not a conclusive thing to detect pregnancy. As annoying as it is I'd give it another 48 hrs then retest with an early response. good luck

My cervix is terrible at giving me information. It's pretty obvious when ovulation is near or just after but anything else is hopeless.
