Thanks for new thread blueberry, getting comfy in my seat!

lucieloos Sun 09-Nov-14 13:13:29

Really sorry AF arrived spinning hmm I really think that you did ovulate just really early this cycle which is why you missed the opk, it can happen apparently. If you look at your chart the second half is really similar to the one of your cycle before in that you have 2 dips (although this cycle they weren't as big as the cycle before) and then 3 days after your second dip af arrives. I definitely think give the soy a miss from now on. I am also finding that my cycle has settled a lot more this month since stopping the epo. My acupuncturist has recommended agnus castus/vitex which is meant to help balance cycles and hormones so that could be something to look into once things have settled down a bit thanksthanks

A friend told me today that she has split up with the guy she has been seeing for a couple of years, she is nearly 38 and now having to start over which must be really hard as I know she would like children someday. It just made me realise how lucky I am. I remember going through the whole dating game for years and how hard it was but now I am happily married and have a lovely dh. Whilst all this ttc might be hard work it just reminded me of how lucky I am to be in a position to actually be ttc even if it doesn't happen straight away or we have to seek assistance, at least we are in a position to be doing something. Just sat here in the sun having a little moment and thought I would share lol.

broodylicious Sun 09-Nov-14 13:26:05

Thanks for the new thread blueberry. May it bring you good luck smile

broodylicious Sun 09-Nov-14 13:33:12

Oh spinning, so sorry to hear AF got you xx

middles809 Sun 09-Nov-14 13:36:52

I agree lucieloos! I was single for a very long time before I met my OH. Never thought I'd be in this position now. I'm actually very happy thinking that if we aren't fortunate enough to have kids and I had to share my life with one other person then I know it's him.

Hopefully we'l be parents soon though.

MrsExtraOrdinary Sun 09-Nov-14 13:37:26

Gosh spinning 17 days? That's crazy short. I agree completely throw the soy in the bin. I think if it was me I'd have a month off all extra sups. Just give your body a rest. The good news i guess at least it was 17 days and not 47 days and you'll soon be into the next cycle. Has soy done that to anyone else? I know a few were trying it? confused

angelaham Sun 09-Nov-14 13:50:10

Sorry to hear AF has got you spinning, think the best thing to do is stop the soy and give your body a break from it, maybe continue with any conception its that you might be taking as just go from there, i know its been a really short cycle which means you get to have another go shortly, put your feet up and indulge in something naughty, and be cosy on the sofa, my cycles have been all over place each month, i am trying vitamin b complex to see if that helps in any way, il keep you posted and that could be another route too x

wanttobeamummyin2015 Sun 09-Nov-14 13:53:39

Hopping aboard!

Oh dear, that sounds strange with af spinning. Hopefully you can get cracking on next month though without the soy.

9dpo... no symptoms so convinced I shall be out by the end of the week. nothing to do with the fact that i poas this morning after seeing broody's bfp and got an ebfn (extra-big-fat-negative)

xBlueberry88x Sun 09-Nov-14 14:05:45

lucie your poor friend I couldnt imagine ever starting again and im 26. I was only single for 6 months after my previous partner and we were together for 5 years and engaged and it devastated me when he ran off with someone he worked with.
My dp now refuses to marry me which will always worry me but we've been together 6 years in may so I guess he loves me lol

spinningirl10 Sun 09-Nov-14 14:08:36

Thanks ladies, MrsE, yep the soy are going! If anyone here wants to try them I'll post them to you, just askgrin
MrsE, I only take folic acid and epo and have taken both for ages so will continue with them. I'm quite sure soy have had this affect so hopefully by the new year if not before it will be out of my system and normal service will be resumed grin

Is there a December bus yet? If not I'll start one although I'll also hang around here and cheer you all on.

Off to read back grin

twinky12 Sun 09-Nov-14 14:09:51

Thanks for the new thread, hoping it brings luck to every1. Only 4dpo here, having af symptoms, but have bad af so nothing new grin

broodylicious Sun 09-Nov-14 14:13:04

Oh want hmm so sorry I tempted you into that. Naughty me! You never know though, you're not out yet!

MissMrsMummy Sun 09-Nov-14 14:24:28

Sorry about AF spinning thanks

Laughing at your term ebfm wanttobe

3dpo here.... Bored.... Nauseous but no idea what that is.

Bloods tomorrow! What will they show I wonder?

I like the talk about being grateful for our dp/dhs. A friend of mind has been engaged twice, both men left, now mid thirties and really wants a baby but worried it might never happen.

At least we are all in the position to try.
