Conception

Am I paranoid or pregnant?

I changed my contraceptive pill a month ago as I'd been bleeding for 11 weeks straight (I switched from cerelle to noriday) as was told by my GP that it would probably be best to use condoms for a week just to be certain. I explained this to my partner but we agreed to just use the withdrawal method instead. I now have a real feeling we may have conceived during that week. :)

I missed a couple of pills last week but didn't bleed which got me thinking, as well as constant nausea and tiredness (although I have fibromyalgia so not that unusual, it just feels different somehow). He's away for another two weeks in the US for work so I don't want to do a test and not be able to tell him for that long - not really something one reveals in a text - but I can't bear not knowing. Any thoughts anyone? :)

I'd just do the test. If you were told to use condoms and you didn't, you both knew there was a possibility you could get pregnant so it's not exactly going to be the greatest of shocks? Only you can make the call…maybe come off the pill though and I get the incline you'd like to be pregnant?

You're right. I certainly won't be shocked (I'd be quite pleased actually) but I'm not sure I could handle knowing for 2 weeks before I can tell him face to face. Not sure I can wait any longer though :)

I'm not that sentimental. Just tell him on phone or Skype! Anyway, I'd wait to find out first. May be false alarm and chances are slim. Hope it works out.
