I'm an old bird who has been TTC for yonks, do I don't tend to get excited about the 2ww anymore. However I am 5dpo. Have had tons of milky white cm since ov and today some creamy too. IME the cycle I had good news I got creamy cm on 9dpo, so I'm always a little more hopeful if I see white cm in the later stages if the 2ww, it's fairly standard to have it in the first week as Progesterone is high anyway.

I might be on a 2ww, noticed EWCM the past few days... Had a miscarriage a few weeks ago & now is when I would ovulate if that had been a period - if that makes sense...

Welcome everyone. So glad you have joined me. My 2ww should start tomorrow. OPKs now negative, CM gone slightly sticky/creamy and cervix still high but of a medium texture (sorry if tmi!!) just need to see my BBT rise and cross everything.

Elizabeth so sorry for your mc fingers crossed your fertile now and ov will happen soon. I had a mc a few months before I conceived DD so can sympathise with you.

Hopefully this will be a lucky thread and bring lots of BFP's :)

Hi. 2ww, (TTC #1, after a late miscarriage 7mnths ago) and crossing my fingers for next Saturday. None of the imaginary symptoms I keep spotting are anything like when I was pregnant before, so not holding out much hope, but it feels like the two weeks are dragging on and on and on.

Hey, 2ww here too. I've taken a step back this month as I was getting very obsessive on the lead up to AF and extremely upset at her arrival. We dtd a handful of times so not very hopeful. Trying to play it down but still at the back of my head that I might be. Fingers crossed everyone

So if cm is sticky/creamy then does that mean the fertile period has past? .... So does tonnes of creamy cm is a good sign ?!

I'm in. TTC #2, cycle 1. DS is 23mo and am slightly terrified at the idea of having two. I think my period will be due next Weds/ Thurs but am a bit irregular since DS. Have been thinking about BBT but don't really know much about it

Good luck to everyone!!

Can I join too?

1 week into the 2ww TTC #2 (first planned though!) after MMC in July.

Completely new to this, first cycle trying and not very well up with the signs etc. have an app which Aprox told me when I ovulated but as it's the first month I'm still trying to get to grips with my body and everything.

Fingers crossed for everyone, very excited for my first 2ww thread!

Would love to join you please.
TTC no.2. 2nd cycle. AF due 12th so one more week to wait. Feeling less hopeful this month. DH is telling me to stay positive but it's hard!

Candy I'd say if you're getting lots of creamy CM after fertile CM then you've def passed into non fertile territory! Yey!

Costa our DD is almost 17 months. We must be mad! I too am worried about having 2 DC to look after. But we will stop after the second so didn't want a massive age gap. Plus I think I've just about got the energy to cope!

Bubbles it's so hard to stay positive when there are so many symptoms to spot :) men try to be supportive but it's not as easy as just staying positive sometimes.

I'm 1dpo today after huge temp spike, OPKs negative last night and CM no longer fertile. Let the waiting commence........

Welcome to everyone else too. Fingers crossed for us all :)

I am 1 week into 2ww and I am resisting the urge to POAS by doing all house-related stuff. House is tidy but now I have only managed to do one week's worth.

I am currently 12 dpo so well in to tww had lots of cm from 5 dpo onwards going to the toilet all the time had a bfn today but I think it poas syndrome as its probably to early to tell if I am

Hi can I join please? Cycle 4 ttc#2 5 dpo and feeling very fed up. Dh away for a month so will miss cycle 5 if this doesn't work. Took a long time with ds and I'm not getting any younger. Breasts rock hard and painful last two days but probably af making her way ... am exhausted and feel really sad and fed up this month - probably need to sleep more and eat better and stop feeling sorry for myself. Dh forgot our wedding anniversary today- but so did I! Not sure who's worse Confused

Report
ScaryMartian · 07/09/2014 18:25

IamEvan- you are not alone, dh and I are rubbish with remembering anniversary stuff. Neither of us had bought a card this year!
Sorry to hear you are feeling down- I hope things start looking up soon.

I hope everyone else is doing ok. I'm now only 2dpo and can see that I'm going to need to keep myself occupied to stop going a bit symptom spotting crazy. Luckily the week after next (week 2 of tww) we are away so no chance to literally piss away money PingOAS too early!

Costa - defo look into temping, I love the science of it (GEEK ALERT) and also that it takes a lot of the guess work away when it comes to the 'have I, haven't I Ov'd' question. Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler is a brilliant book which helped me first time around.

I may be imagining this and getting ahead of myself but my boobs are sore! Just a little bit to the touch, not usually an AF symptom for me, that's often a really harsh pain in one armpit (the side corresponding to the appropriate ovary for that month).

Not getting excited, not getting excited, not getting excited......I'm excited!

What do we think about drinking in the tww or are we staying teetotal?

Report
ScaryMartian · 07/09/2014 20:57

Grin Mish! Sounds promising!

I'm feeling a bit sick, which according to my bonkers mind must be a pg symptom (at 2dpo? Hmm ) and def not due to the fact that I've eaten loads of crap today.

Report
CostaLotta · 07/09/2014 20:58

Thank you Scary I will look into that book. I've been reading up on it for next month as I don't think we DTD enough this month (non sleeping toddler grrr!!)

OK so I will confess I POAS this morning and it was obviously BFN... I'm probably only 10 or 11 dpo, why do we do it to ourselves?? Off to Home Bargains tomorrow to stock up on cheapie tests Grin

CandyPop were you on the Nov 12 threads?

Report
ScaryMartian · 07/09/2014 21:03

I was going to ask the same Costa.

Last time I didn't drink in the 2ww but am going away next week with family where there will be lots of wine. My family are very eagle eyed and bound to notice, plus my mum I'm sure is looking for signs we are ttc again.

I think I'm going to drink but only a little to throw people off the scent.

What are your thoughts?
