Having doubts about the clear blue monitor

Morethanalittlebitconfused · 18/08/2014 10:24

I've had highs since cd9 and today at cd14 got my first peak of the month.

However

My EWCM stopped yesterday.

So now I'm wondering how wrong the monitor is and how trust worthy it is.

Anyone else with issues with it?

It never ever gave me highs despite regular blood tests showing I ovulated. To be honest, for me, it caused more stress.

I've been using CBFM for awhile now and get the same. EWCM about 3 days before peaks. I don't temp due to erratic wake up times so don't know if it's right to be honest. Have you temped?

But after 5 months we've decided to ditch the monitor and just go with my body (ie the EWCM). It's been really stressing me out so fingers crossed a more relaxed approach works now!

I don't trust the machine either! I wish that I'd gone with a simpler opk rather than one that feels like it is trying to read/ understand me...

I've had issues with the CBFM, had such high hopes for it and was bitterly disappointed. First cycle it went from low to high and then back to low again and the second cycle stayed low, I confirmed ovulation through temping both cycles so know I did ovulate and used OPKs on the second cycle.
I called the helpline and they sent me a free box of sticks to use and said that if I didn't get a peak next cycle I could then send it to them to look at...we have put a lot of effort into ttc this cycle and I didn't want frustration with the CBFM to ruin it so haven't used it...
