Unmanageable periods and TTC

My cycle is doing it's own thing. 24-28days long and can never predict what length it will be from one month to the next

Add to this I flood and pass clots and this month has been particularly bad leaving me feeling woosey and anaemic.

What are my options to control this? I would consider the coil were I not TTC and obviously this option is out!

Meant to say I have got fibroids which would probably be the cause of the heavy periods

Can't help too much but I have fibroids too. Mine are regular but stupidly heavy. Silly question but you have been given iron tablets? I'm on quite a high dose and was told that lack of iron makes the bleeding worse. Is your dosage high enough?
