Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo
~~~~~~~~~
ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.
Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.
Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!
Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP
TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!
The current Grads Fred is here
The rather nobbish article in which we became a little bit notorious is here
Happy shagging shaggers!
Still no ERTD! But I'm not hopeful after 2 BFNs
Report
Babblehag · 27/04/2014 13:47
I swear I can see a very faint line on this mornings opk, also yesterdays has developed and even fainter line... SYMPTOM (unless of course I'm hallucinating, which means AF may be waiting instead) but mrbabble thinks he sees it too, (however he might just be saying that to humour me)
Having to take a break from studying to supervise the older 2 children, you'd have thought that at 8 and 12 they would be capable of being in a separate room with entertainment (PC's) and the annoying part is I have to get my work done and a tma and an icma in by Thursday! The Easter hols were equally as bad, so glad I have only done 60 credits instead of 120 I would have been up poo creek then!!!
Are you often late Zyla?
Sore boobs Rpopz?? Shock...
Does anyone else get headaches and nausea around icing time?
Dulcet I love your hangover sandwich shop idea. Am furiously trying to think of a funny/clever name but am failing on both counts.
I'm not always on same cycle length, just to complicate matters... But never over 35 days, which today is.
Zyla that sounds interesting... lots of people have gone on to get a BFP after several BFNs... don't want to feed the crazy, but it aint over till the red witch sings.
I want to see a Jason Doner Van - best takeaway name ever!
Ice cream sandwich just sounds wrooooong!
Report
RPopz · 27/04/2014 14:53
Mich/Snow... don't confuse me!
Wil, I always get sore boobs the week before AF so not getting too excited.... 11dpo today so could technically do some silly early testing.... Think I'm heading for a 35 dayer though.
Agreed Zyla, those early tests are bad for false negatives! But again, don't want to fuel the crazy.
Took the puppy for his groom this morning. He had to have loads of his belly fur clipped because I am a terrible mother and some of it was matted Sad He's totally zonked out now, been asleep since we got back two hours ago!
