Hi Ladies,
I have been TTC for a couple of months now and I know its still early days but was going to try using the ov tests this month. I am a complete novice at this and just had a quick look on amazon but there are lots of different ones, does anybody have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance xx

Cheap massive pack from Amazon, I used these , pee in a cup twice a day, dip for 10 seconds then leave to develop for a few minutes, I used fmu and then another later in the day, I didn't wait for it to cool down either! Hmm The positives are hard to see if you haven't had any negatives first so to begin with I'd start quite early in your cycle so you can see a difference. I have stuck them to some paper with date/CD/time next to them so I can compare and record across the month to ovulation.

I got my last bfp using these and dtd 4 times over the next five days after a +opk.

Hope this helps Smile

I was just about to recommend the exact same ones as MissHobart. I'm on CD57 and have just had a positive with these (messed up cycles!) so I buy in bulk. In fact, I'm on my 3rd lot of 50 Blush

I used them for DS2 and they worked perfectly.

Good luck!

im a bit thick with stuff like this, so i went for the simple/easiest (yet more expensive) option of clearblue dual hormone. im crap with the line business (how the line should be as dark as the test line blah blah blah) so the clearblue does it for you, with smiley faces. :)

if you shop around on eBay, you can pick em up cheaper than boots/superdrug. (but check their first as sometimes they have offers on) i got my clearblue 20 sticks pack for 20quid off ebay.

I also got these. How long are you supposed to wait to see the positive line. I only waited about 30 seconds and all looked negative to me, but wasnt sure if you have to come back to it in 10 minutes or something?
Confused!

Kit - watch the pee go up the stick, once you've seen the control line give it a couple of minutes then go back to it, sometimes it's easier to tell once it's dried out! hth. Smile

I definitely recommend sticking them to a bit of paper so you can compare, I've found that once its dried the lines are much fainter than you'd expect, even the control, I'll try and put some pictures on if anyone wants.

Positive strips, hopefully you can see these, they're not that clear so was a bit misleading when I started using them! However these are the positives I got my bfp on! Hope this helps someone!
