Hi there.....
If you are normally very regular you can expect the solid smiley after a couple of flashers. However I had awful probs with these dual tests and now avoid them like the plague. I had 10 flashers the last time I used them (my cycles are all over the place though) and ran out of tests. I stick to the pink handled classic ones now. Good luck :)

You can get flashing for about 2-5 days, it depends on how long your oestrogen surge is. The sticks are very sensitive, so for some it may take longer than 2 days to get a solid. It just means you're getting close to your lh surge.

I have used these for the last two cycles and both times, have had flashing smileys for between 9-10 days (about CD10 onwards) before getting my solid smiley. Day after solid smiley, I have been having ovulation pains on one side. It depends if you are an early, average or late ovulator I shouldn't wonder.
