Spotting, AF not appeared almost 12 hours later - test negative?

Me and my OH have been TTC since July 2013 which was when I stopped taking contraception. My last period was within a few days of the 20th of February... think I was ovulating at the beginning of this month (between 1st-5th, I would tell you why but it may be TMI). At the beginning of this year my new years resolution was to stop monitoring and to just forget about it!

The last 3 weeks I've been working nights, and last night was my last night shift. At about 1am when I went to the loo I noticed pinkish, light redness on the loo roll so assumed it was AF and wore a pad. Normally I don't struggle to sleep but the last 2 mornings after finishing nights I've struggled to sleep which has never happened to me before (I work nights regularly) - I feel extra tired and stressed, very emotional (but of course may just be because of lack of sleep!). My boobs have been hurting for almost a full week which is longer than normal. Just been to the loo again and now loo roll is completely clear. Normally I feel cramps or a "tightening" but nope, nothing.

Did a clearblue digital yesterday morning and it was negative. Don't want to be symptom spotting or going crazy with tests. If nothing else I'd like some reassurance that I am being sane! lol

From what I've heard the digital tests aren't that sensitive. Try with a normal one or wait a few more days! I have my finger crossed for you Hun x

Ok so I got two cheap tests that were £1 each! Will do one now as I'm impatient and then one early morning to make sure. If both are neg then ill give it a week...

Done 2 a few hours between and both negative. Going to make myself wait now. Very frustrating. But still AF hasn't come back. Never had irregular periods or spotting before, not even as a teenager. The test I used where the firstvue tests in a plastic thing.

Btw I did two because the first one looked like a line but it was wonky and at first it looked like two lines but now it's just one a few hours later. Think its evaporation line.

Still no period after spotting Saturday night/Sunday morning. Going to do a test tomorrow (Tuesday)...
