I've been TTC for five months now (fairly healthy if a bit fat and 36, so time not really on my side). AF is due tomorrow but I feel a bit unusual and not very premenstrual... can I have some good vibes that AF may fly over our house tomorrow?

All the best!

BFN for me

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 09:12:15

BFN for me too sad

Pickles79 Thu 13-Mar-14 09:14:48

Horrible isn't it. I really thought this month would be it. I'm 35 and worried it's just too late for me.

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 09:18:38

Rubbish. We were on holiday, I thought the extra relaxing would make a difference. Oh well, next month beckons...

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 09:19:01

And I'm 36. We should be fine really!

Pickles79 Thu 13-Mar-14 09:23:47

Yes you're right, we should be fine. I read somewhere on here that it's a myth that fertility drops massively after 35.
I think for me, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly when I ovulate because my cycles range from 24-30 days.
I don't know, I just felt different this month, really really tired and just presumed I had managed it this month. I've only been off the pill for six months after 6 years on it so it also worries me that I'm maybe not even ovulating yet. I just worry about everything lol.

Sorry to hear about the BFNs sad

Out of interest did you use a digi? It's only my opinion but I think they're crap and can't be trusted. I've known a few false negatives on here and RL.

And pickles have you thought about using ovulation sticks? I got cheapos off amazon and got my BFP first month (I'm 35). I know they only show the hormone surge but might be worth a go?

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 09:35:18

I know! I'm off the Mirena after 7 years and now TTC for five months. The first month was the worst for symptom spotting but I had hoped the holiday would do the trick.

Pickles79 Thu 13-Mar-14 09:36:07

I used a clear blue digital.
No I've not tried ovulation sticks but am looking on amazon now lol.

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 09:36:20

My BFN was from a standard one. Expecting Aunt Flo any minute.

Pickles79 Thu 13-Mar-14 09:38:22

Sorry, just checked. It was clear blue but not a digital one x

SecretWitch Thu 13-Mar-14 11:32:26

Well, damn, ladies...I was hoping for happy news...sending hugs to you both..

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 12:30:49

On the upside, AF not yet arrived!

Pickles79 Thu 13-Mar-14 12:32:08

Mine hasn't either. Trying not to read tooooo much into that lol

lessonsintightropes Thu 13-Mar-14 12:35:19

Yes, am not convincing myself I am when POAS says no, but still nice not to have to deal with it yet smile
