I have been doing ivf and this time have been on both thyroxine and metformin.
(Last time successful no thyroxine)

This time i had really upset stomach from as soon as i started the progesterone pessaries.

Im just wondering if anyone else had this.
Were you successful?
I think the combination of all 3 met, thyroxine and progesterone may have made me hyperthyroid. (My tsh was probably about 2.5 when i started treatment)

Hello I've had an underactive thyroid since I was 16, so that's 18 years on thyroxine. My levels are currently horrendous so ttc this time is tricky. I already have a family and experience of the woes of thyroid so if there's anything I can answer for you, I might be able to help.

I am hypo too, but never heard of met and progesterone affecting your thyroid levels! I am pretty sure that it cannot make you hyper. Are they regularly testing your thyroid levels?

Do you have a short luteal phase?

No mostly not is fairly normal, except last cycle was 6 days late (extremely late) wondering whether a non sticky bean. The one previous to that was a day early. My thyroid levels were particularly bad then. Bloods Not been tested for 7 wks and dose upped so think they must be better than they were.
