Hi,
I have just joined and this is my first time posting. I have been browsing for a little while and have found all the posts really helpful. I have a history of heavy, irregular periods and acne since age 14. I went on Dianette at 18 for 2 years, followed by Yasmin for 9 years. I came off the pill last March and started TTC in September. No luck so far. Since I have come off the pill, I have had bad acne on my face, neck/jawline and back. I have been using Quinoderm off and on. In the past I've had Zineryt but am reluctant to use anything while TTC. 2 years ago, due to ongoing acne issues, I had an internal scan and apparently my ovaries looked normal so the Dr said I did not have PCOS. While on the pill my periods were normal and regular, but since coming off, cycles have varied from 28-46 days. I have been using Clearblue Ovulation sticks since December and have had positive readings last month (CD21) and this month (CD14). I am getting stressed about not being pregnant yet and know it's not been that long (5 months) but also am concerned due to the other issues. I am currently 10 days post ovulation but had some cramping yesterday so wouldn't be surprised if I got my AF this weekend (due on Sunday) :(
I have not seen the Dr about TTC as they are not very helpful and do not seem concerned/to care. Should I go back about acne etc? I know they won't care about TTC until it's been a year.
It's all top secret so I have no one to talk to and DH doesn't seem that bothered about any of this except DTD! He gets annoyed if I go on about it and says I am stressing necessarily (which I probably am). Everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant (I am 30) and I just feel very fed up about it all.
