i had the coil removed this morning and had unprotected sex on monday what are the chances pf being pregnant?

Did you have regular period whilst you had your Coil in place?

You may find it takes you longer to get pregnant then. Did you have the Mirena coil or the Copper one? The Mirena Coil isn't designed to stop ovulation but it happens in 25% of women who use it - if that's the case with you it may take a while for your hormones to stabilise and for ovulation to start up again. I was told that as a general rule it can take up to 6 months to conceive after a coil had been removed.

I had the Mirena but my ovulation wasn't affected and I continued to have regular cycles and periods whilst it was in place. As a result I fell pregnant within 5 weeks of having it removed.
