Not enough EWCM? Preseed?? Evening primrose oil? Thoughts please!

Okay, so the dreaded period showed up today. Obviously I am very peed off about it. I've decided to take a very relaxed approach this coming month...no opk's, not symptom spotting blah blah blah! But, I just have one question first...

Last month I had a chemical pregnancy. I had a lot of EWCM that month. This month I dtd before and all the way through my fertile window BUT I didn't have as much EWCM as last month. In fact it was significantly less. I just wondered what you all thought. There could have been a lot of reasons why I didn't conceive this month but do you think this could have been a big factor?

I have heard of preseed, Evening Primrose etc, do you think it's worth giving it a go? I'm seriously not going to obsess this month but my mans' swimmers need a decent helping hand!!

When I was ttc my first 7 years ago I read somewhere that pineapple juice is good for producing more Ewcm. I only remembered this the other day when I read my pregnancy diary. The first and only month I drank it I fell pregnant. I have had a glass every day this cycle too and I'm halfway through and have loads of Ewcm. Seems it works for me, worth a go!

Does anybody else think that less EWCM may have been a factor? I did have it, just way less.....

One of the side effects of clomid (which I needed to take to conceive) is to reduce and thicken CM. This can apparently be counteracted by taking guaifenesin, which is found in cheap over the counter cough mixtures. This is mentioned in the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book IIRC. Might be worth looking into?

I can second the cough medicine. It seems to have worked for me.
