Bloody gutted again :(

So af has showed up today and I am gutted ( mildly isnt the word)
Its been almost a year since I stopped my pill
So maybe not long enough but bloody hell why does it seem easy for others?! ( i know from this topic that its not for everyone)
Have had a ovulation blood test - all fine and an internal scan so things all look good. My bf gonna get tested in new year too. I am 38 .
Just feel so bloody useless today- never ever thought I would feel like this :(

I know how frustrating it is, it took us 6 months till we got our bfp and that ended in a mmc. Now we are a year into it stuck in limbo land waiting for test results. Others may come and tell you the averages. But it's still rubbish all the bloody waiting!

Have you tried using op k's?

yes i did use some cheapie ones for a while and I do feel when I am ovulating but I will go and get a digital one I think now!
I know its prob not that long and I know other ladies on here have far worse stories than mine.

Me to. Stopped the pill in April. Af showed up today again. I know there are lots of people with worse stories to but I do feel really teary today. I think spending time with all the family the last few days and being the only aunty has not helped. I get how you feel, meant to be at sister in laws tonight and really don't want to go now.

If I had known it be this bloody long then I would come off it years ago! Oh well !

Aww chin up . I'm on cycle 4 at the mo and getting fed up with having to smile through what feels like everyone I know "having accidents" I'm finding it hilarious the amount if time in my relationship I've been trying to avoid pregnancy lol if I would have known it was this hard I wouldn't have bothered and just had a jolly good time lol ?? x

12 months ago to the day i know i felt exactly the same as you.

It was New years day, we had been ttc for a year after coming off the pill, was feeling crap and fed up and to top it off my sister and her fiancé, and my best mate, had told us they were expecting over Christmas.

Fast forward 12 months, i am now 9 months pregnant and just waiting for my little one to show their face! Conceived naturally and took us by complete surprise as we had pretty much given up!

I just wanted to share my story to hopefully give you some hope! Don't give up, it WILL happen!

louise thank you for sharing your story. It's made me a bit teary but in a good way. Its a tough time of year especially if you had convinced yourself that Christmas 2013 you would have a baby and here we are - no baby!

But Louise's story has shown us it can work out and hopefully made you feel better ... especially Lisa. ALso, Lisa, please don't feel you need to apologise for how you feel and how others are 'worse off'. YOu are allowed to be upset! I hope 2014 is your year and you are feeling a bit better today.

Btw, I'm ttc no. 1 since December 2012.

Oh thank you :)) I am fine today!
The emotions you feel is something I never even thought about!
All my close friends are either preg/ just given birth and I was just a bit jealous inside - though I love my friends with all my heart!
soooo crazy but I know things will be fine.

I feel exactly the same way. TTC #1 at 35 and nothing after 7 months (which I know isn't that long!). AF arrived today and so I've booked myself a trip to Kerela in India for April. Let's see what sod's law can do ...

Yes we're off to America in Feb as part of our 'sod it' plan...

We have been TTC over 2 years though and this holiday is in addition to a new car, and starting a masters degree (which I am halfway through now!) as strategies! I'm remaining positive and at least if it doesn't work we'll have had a lovely holiday and all the other things will still be here!

Good luck to everyone, I think the New Year is a really hard time, especially after getting through another Christmas...

Exactly how I am looking at it!
This year is the first xmas/new year and yes is a bit odd really!
Especially as my 3 close friends are pg -well one has just had baby and other two due mid next year.
Oh it really is a funny old game !
