I had problems trying to conceive - took 18 months and we were on the waiting list at the fertility clinic at the hospital. I was on day 42 when I finally got my positive result (had started doing tests from day 25) and felt different. I was 37 then. If you don't have a period in the next couple of days, go to the doctor and get a blood test. Push hard for fertility tests and say how long you've been ttc. I was told it was stress due to work. If your periods are irregular, it's a sure sign that something is amiss. It turned out I wasn't ovulating properly, I had a thin womb lining and my husband's sperm were not very motile but we did manage one. I had an early menopause but that's another story - went on to have twins via egg donation.

Anything changed - just wondering how you were?
