First cycle of Clomid... pain!

I'm on day 16 of my first 50mg clomid treatment. I haven't been charting my temperature or anything because I don't want to stress myself out more. DH and I have just been having sex every three days. The past two days I've started getting a sharp pain on my right side (ovary area). It has gradually gotten worse, and is now a dull ache that hurts more when I strain that area (weeing/ lifting leg over baby gate.)

Has anyone else experienced this kind of discomfort?

Could this just be ovulation pain? I am also on clomid 3rd month my only side effect seems to be that im constipated whilst on it but ok a couple of days after my last pill Blush

Clomid's main job is to make the ovaries work harder and the pains may be a side effect. However, if you remain worried do talk to the people who prescribed this drug treatment to you. Infact I would talk to them in any case.

Its actually quite powerful stuff so you should be monitored whilst on it (through both blood tests and internal ultrasounds). No monitoring is completely unacceptable as you then have no way of knowing whether its working or not.
