Can I believe what I'm seeing?

We have been TTC since I came off the Cerazette pills a few months ago. I got a bit carried away and did a few tests at the beginning of October but only got BFN.
On 10th October I then had what I thought was AF, bleed was a lot lighter than I'm used to but lasted about 8 days.
Then this last week or so I've had 'symptoms' such as nausea, going off certain foods, sore breasts etc so I just did a First Response test and it shows positive!!
I know it sounds silly but not sure if I can believe it, is it possible it's a false positive? I'm so confused at what my body is doing I can't think straight. Could what I thought was AF have been implantation instead?

Sorry that was a bit garbled, I would appreciate any thoughts or advice from you all (much wiser and rational than me). Thank you.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 02/11/2013 06:13

Thanks 17leftfeet should I just stop fussing and believe it then?!

A false positive is almost unheard of. Congratulations x

AlwaysDancing1234 · 02/11/2013 06:47

Thank you (off to local shop as soon as it opens at 7am to buy at least 1 more test to be sure!) I have no idea at all how far along I might be, it's all so confusing.

Good Luck x

Just spent almost 10 quid Shock on a clever digital test and it confirmed I am pregnant and conceived '3+ weeks' ago so I guess what I thought was AF was implantation. Oh my goodness, I can't believe this!

nearlyreadytopop · 02/11/2013 08:27

congratulations! implantation bleeds are confusingSmile

AlwaysDancing1234 · 02/11/2013 08:30

Thanks everyone, luckily I'm not a drinker anyway so no one will be suspicious if I don't drink wine at Xmas. What will be more difficult is saying no to cups of tea (making me nauseous) as I'm usually 6 cups a day at least!

Lovely news! Congratulations!

mawinter · 02/11/2013 15:53

AlwaysDancing1234 Yup that was me. AF (or at least what I think is AF) arrived finally after 54 days of waiting. There is now nothing however and flow was only brown.

So Happy to hear you got your BFP!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 02/11/2013 19:34

Thanks everyone

Congratulations!! Any tips to pass on? X

AlwaysDancing1234 · 03/11/2013 06:37

Thanks beigebuffet I know it's an old cliche and easier said than done but I had to try not to get obsessed with TTC. DS is 6 now so waited a very long time before we could get pregnant with baby 2. It's not been easy but it's definitely worth the wait! Hope you lovely people all get your BFP's soon
