Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

Helloooooo!

Is it next weekend you're at Newby Bridge Hungry? DH is used to me meeting MNers so if I just say I know you from MN he won't ask more! Is it just you and DH or are you bringing LO? I won't intrude if it's a romantic babymaking weekend x

HungryHorace · 02/11/2013 02:30

It is next weekend. And it's all of us. :-)

No baby making next weekend. I'll either be pregnant or it'll be too early! The latter, I imagine. :-/

It'd be lovely to meet up somewhere. If you let me know which day is best we can sort details.

Marking thread with a delightful query about poas - why morning? Is it to concentrate hormones, and if you've been up and down all night with a sprightly lo does that affect it?

Report
CallingAllEngels · 02/11/2013 07:47

NC here (but easy to spot)

Yep, utopian, it's because urine will be more concentrated after not peeing all night. Would only be affected if you've been peeing every two hours!

DS decided to come into out bed at 2am and I was too tired and cold ridden to turf him out. But then he decided that 5am was wake up time and I managed 90 minutes before i gave up and got out of bed. have started my NaNo novel this morning (yesterday was out in the evening and hectic day).

may take a step back from thread ladies as mc saga is still not resolved. Had a follow up appointment yesterday just for bloods, but HCG had gone up instead of down so I had to have another scan to check everything out. No trace of anything in womb or tubes, so no idea why HCG would go up. Something is hanging on somewhere. Have to go back next week (and therefore take another day off work).

Just want it to be over and gone so that we can start ttc again. (last time it was straightforward so this is stressing me out). Feel like time is ticking, age gap getting bigger Sad

Will be back when I have some good news (atm AF would be good news for me!)

Report
HungryHorace · 02/11/2013 07:51

It's because you generally don't wee overnight so it gives the hormone a chance to get more concentrated in your wee. Being up doesn't matter if you don't wee while you're up. :-)

I'm feeling rough today. Sick with headache. Unsettled tummy with the sickness. Maybe I've just got a bug? :-/

Hi everyone, I'm here on the part two thread! Is it next weekend Hungry you and ATruth are meeting up? I wish I could come along too, I'd love to meet you both but my DH works on a Saturday and next weekend is a bit short notice for him to book it off. Perhaps leading up to Xmas we could all try meet up somewhere sort of in the middle?
Hungry - you really need to poas, I think we need to know now if it's a bug or you're pg.
Engels - really sorry for you , it's really strange and the no explanation for it all must make it even harder . I hope they get to the bottom of it soon and you can move on with TTC.
ATruth - how are you ?
I hope Stacks knows about our part two thread. Stacks - I hope your DS is ok, what is wrong ?

I could possibly POAS tomorrow, Mrs, but I didn't bring any tests with me, so it has to be Monday!

My breakfast almost made a return too. :-/

I missed Stacks' post about her son. I hope he's OK.

Yes, next weekend for the meet up. It's just coincidence we happen to be up that way. We do go to Windermere relatively often though.

It'd be good if we could all meet at some point. :-)

Afternoon. DS is ok, just a bad cough/cold making him miserable. He's cute though, because he thinks sneezing is funny. So he giggles and looks at you every time he sneezes, unfortunately for him it means we see the snot explosion and attack him with a hanky though. Poor wee man. His sleep has been terrible with the cold too, so in exhausted, went to bed at 8 last night, as did DH, which is unheard of!

I somehow managed to post message 1001 to the old thread.. Did they change when the threads cut off?

I've got my early scan on Monday, and looking forward to checking in with you all and seeing 2 new bfps!

Right, going to try the transfer from arms to cot for DS. Wish me luck.

You may have a feeling, Toothpaste. I've just been to the loo and wiped some pinky blood.

Implantation or start of AF?! Don't dare hope it's implantation. Almost scared now!

We're in the same hotel room we spent our wedding night in :-) It's ace!

Bet you're glad to be back with your DS, Toothpaste.

Good evening ladies!
My goodness, we have some exciting things hanging in the balance, don't we?!
Hungry - have a lovely time away. I love the Lake District. Did you get married there too? Ok Toothpaste has a feeling and now so do I. Bleeding when wiping is almost definitely implantation bleeding or a show (as I prefer). If you don't get any more I'd say that's a definite! I can't wait for you to poas.
Lucy - you have had funny symptoms too so I'm feeling a strong possibility for you too! You both need to put us all out of our misery and do a test.
Toothpaste - I'm the same as you, I'm so delighted at being pregnant but it just feels too good to be true.
Hi Donna - I'm so sorry you're suffering with the sickness, try not to let it get you down. I've felt sick one day so far but haven't actually been sick. I feel exactly the same as I did in my pregnancy with DS so maybe I'm having another boy?! Do you reckon that's how it works? I think it was Lucy who said she thought I'd have another boy. My boobs are so sore and tender and DH says they're getting a lot bigger, tiredness and hungry. I too have gone off red meat.
Donna what sort of things are you eating? I'm just having whatever I fancy really like tonight DH is working so and DS have had ham and pineapple pizza from sainsburys. I can't find much that I like to drink so just having water and fresh orange juice and apple juice. Any suggestions or are you just on the lucozade?
Stacks - so glad your DS is doing ok. He sounds funny with the sneezes. I am really excited for your early scan on Monday. What time is it? Let us all know how it goes and fingers crossed everything is good and well. Lots of luck xx

Mrs, I'm back home this weekend, it's the Lakes next week! Busy, busy. :-)

Donna, sorry you're being so sick. I hope it clears soon.

Stacks, good luck with your scan. I hope your DS feels better soon.

Mrs, eating what you fancy is a good idea. :-)

I hate now having the slight bleed. I didn't bleed with DD (until weeks 20 and 24, but that's another story!) so it's a total unknown. :-/

Sorry Hungry, I was getting confused with when you are away and in the lakes etc. It'll be that tired brain of mine. Honestly I had a show with DS and it's just light bleeding implantation bleeding and my doctor said that you can get that when you've conceived 10 days to two weeks ago. Sant bangs going off here and DS has just gone to bed! X

Hi ladies, hurrah to the 2nd thread! Lets hope the luck continues. another 6 bfps in the same time span would be good!!!
Well I would say I'm about 90% convinced I'm not pg Sad. I think it is your month though Hungry!! Going off tea and pink tissue paper - surely there aren't any better signs?? Excited for you to POAS already!!! I'm sorry I know we're terrible for being sensible and patient for you aren't we!
I suppose I won't really be actually POAS on monday, I'm going to wait and see if AF turns up, and if not I will be POAS on tuesday. sorry to abandon the party hungry!!
A MN meet up is very exciting! it would be nice to be able to all do one at some point in the future, not sure where would be halfway.
Sorry about all your to-ing and fro-ing Engels, really hope it sorts itself out soon for you and you can get back on the horse, so to speak!! When is your race? are you still planning on taking part?
Stacks hope your DS starts feeling better, and you all get some sleep, how did the arm to cot transition go? Was DS fooled!?
Sorry you're all feeling sick and off your food, I remember all I wanted to drink was fresh orange juice and eat salty things, so its best to just give in and eat whatever the hell you feel like eating! Better to eat little and often than not at all..if you can keep it down!
Lots of fireworks going off here, but the weather is so fowl, think we're having this storm a week late!!

Well, if you're not due for AF, and you only have to look at what happened to Mrs, so hopefully...you're pregnant?! I guess as long as it's not too heavy and period-y then it will be a show? FX!!

Hi Hungry - Lucy is right, look at what happened to me. It's hard to determine what is a show but basically a light bleed. Not just spotting but a light bleed which usually happens on one occasion but can go over a couple of days. The thing is, when most people get that they usually mistake it for a period. As I did. And u had a show with my DS and thought it was the start of a period but got not more through that night or the next day. The other thing to bare in mind is that if it was an I'm plantation bleed it might not show a BFP yet as it will mean you're probably less than 2 weeks pg. sorry to put a downer on it but just remember that I came on here one Friday night and said I 'd had light bleeding that evening. When I poas on the Saturday morning I got that very faint line which none of us were sure about. Then I did another test on the Monday and got a bfn but I was actually pregnant. Anyway I would do it when you get home on Monday regardless. If you get a very faint line it's a BFP.
I took DS to bed hours ago and fell asleep in bed with him, I've not long just woken up and come downstairs to get a drink of water and come on here . It's becoming a regular thing me falling asleep with DS then waking up a few hours later. Good night all and good luck to everyone, especially Hungry and Lucy.
Lucy - all the gets for tues if you are going to poas. X

I know it's too early to POAS as 10 DPO is the earliest you can usually get a result, which is today, so tomorrow will be as good a time as any to have a go! I'll just have to wait and see, but I've never been very patient. :-/

Hopefully I'll be lucky like you, mrs!

Lucy, quite a few people prefer to wait for AF rather than POAS, so I understand where you're coming from. I've never been able to bloody stop myself, which is daft really! I hope you're wrong with your hunch and you are pregnant. :-)

Morning all. Woken up to slightly heavier blood which is more red than pink, so sadly I think this is a too early AF. :-/

Only sanpro I have with me is tampons too, no panty liners, so not sure how to manage it.

Ah well.

Maybe running wouldn't be for the best right now, Engels.

Hope everyone else is ok. :-)
