Hi All!

So after reading through this site for the past few weeks I have decided to join! Me and my parter are TTC our first and I am after a bit of advice! Hmm I stopped my pill (Cilest) and had a normal withdrawal bleed on 19 Aug for about 4 days. I then had my proper period 29 days later on 16 September which lasted until last Saturday. So I am today on cycle day 9.

My question! Sorry if this is TMI but when I wipe I am getting quite slimy discharge thats quite pink. My period is definitely over and surely its too early for ovulation and I shouldn't be getting blood in the cervical mucus?!

I would be grateful if anyone can shed any light on this. I know its early on in my TTC journey but this just latest development has confused me!

Thanks very much! Smile

Maybe it was blood from sex?

I don't know a whole lot about this either, but didn't want to read and run.

But I have had this happen before if maybe a bit more enthusiastic than normal, or if a bit sensitive.

Is there any discomfort with it, or is it just the discharge?

I had this! On both cycles since stopping the patch. I was convinced it was ov as I had a high temp too and put the pink discharge down to that.

Or it could just be settling down again which can take a while.
I wouldnt worry if theres no pain or if it continues just make a note of it in your app or diary and good luck x

Thanks both. It's not from sex as we are yet to dtd this month! I have been going google mad and read that you can ovulate from day 6???

I was just going to say it could be your body gearing up for ovulation. It doesn't necessarily mean you are ovulating now but could be about to ovulate soon. And yes in theory you can ovulate that early, some people do

I had this after stopping microgynon. Had one day of what you describe, each cycle for 2, also had pre af spotting.

finally on cycle 4 and had none of these and feel and seem 'normal'

I think it's just hormones settling and can take time, try not to worry and just carry on dtd! Good luck!

Thanks for you replies! It's hard not to over analyse things when you just want to get cracking! All seems back to normal today just lots of watery/slimey discharge so am regularly dtd in case it's early ovulation!
