Last fred:

<Hangs a festive Autumn wreath on the door, starts the wood stack for log fires, and makes sure there is plenty of cocoa and marshmallows in the cupboard>

Making the most of the last days of Summer, but keeping a weather eye out for Autumn, and looking forward to all of those outstanding BFPs!

fox lol at the aloof newborn! grin

geek has obviously not realised we're going to have an Indian summer!!!

Booked my next iui cycle day 2 scan into work diary today. Dh thinks I'm being pessimistic but surely it's best to be practical?

BlindKitty Mon 02-Sep-13 19:04:13

Oh but still love what you've done with the place geek! I'll still have some hot chocolate though (whilst sunbathing)

musicalmrs Mon 02-Sep-13 19:50:29

Definitely good to be practical Kitty - can't hurt smile

Love the Fred Geek! Feels lovely and cosy :-)

May have bought some vitamins for DH and I to start our TTC prep today! smile

ControlGeek Mon 02-Sep-13 20:09:58

Squeeeee!!! So when are you rejoining the fred musical??

kitty I love Autumn, it's my favourite time of the year. As soon as we tick over into September I start to look forward to long walks through piles of red and gold leaves. It does look like this amazing weather is set to continue for a little while though grin

Loopyaboutmy2boys Mon 02-Sep-13 20:48:02

Does this mean AF has finally returned musical? How old is your little one now?

BlindKitty Mon 02-Sep-13 21:15:58

music is this dc#2?

geek I'll have to use that one when trying to persuade Dh to come walking with me now I've given up exercise in the 2ww!

Ooh hi everyone, just got back from the Boo family hollibobs to find you moved while I was away shockgrin who would like to fill me in on the gossip while I tackle the washing mountain? smile

Lovely new well stocked thread Geek

GreenOlives Mon 02-Sep-13 21:49:06

I LOVE autumn too geek!
Lovely new fred! grin

musicalmrs Mon 02-Sep-13 22:30:43

Not just yet Geek... We've agreed December smile But that means we're three months away, so it's folic acid time grin. Have bought us the same vitamins we were both on when we got the last BFP last time, so figure it can't hurt...

Loopy, no, no AF yet. However, the nurse reckons that's down to the pill I'm on plus BF - says it's quite common. We'll see what happens.. DD is 16 months now.

Kitty, yes! My DD was a brooking baby - was TTC for a while, but got my BFP in my first month as a brooker (the power of brooking!).

Welcome back from holiday Boo, did you have a good time? Don't talk to me about washing mountains...

Biscuitsandtea Mon 02-Sep-13 22:34:43

Marks place....

BlindKitty Tue 03-Sep-13 06:57:35

GenericDietCola Tue 03-Sep-13 07:53:40

Solars Tue 03-Sep-13 08:51:15

Marks place, lovely new thread Geek smile

Kitty brooking for you, when is test date?

Big waves to all.

ScarlettInSpace Tue 03-Sep-13 12:11:16

Ooooh new fred 'ello grin

NoMaybeAboutIt Tue 03-Sep-13 14:06:51

I bloody lost you!! I nearly had a coronary!

<wipes brow>

Kitty brooking that appointment was made in vain. Ironic BFP is on it's way wink

Musical that's very exciting!!!! Minimusical#2!

I also love the autumn. Though it's going to be 30 degrees here again on Thursday hmm

hinkyhonk Tue 03-Sep-13 18:24:28

<sneaks in and hides behind musical>

I'd better introduce myself (aka hawthers) I was on one of the earlier antenatal brooking threads due to having a high risk pg with ds2 due to ds1 arriving very early and having a very long time in the nicu. ds2 was fine but next pg cpuld be high risk again. I've not had the pleasure of joining the conception threads so hello!

dh and I are considering whether definitely going to try for no.3 but won't decide start until the new year for timing issues re if it all goes pear shaped again but been lurking a little to try to decide if we can face giving it another go. Current thinking is definitely yes! So hello and brooking in reserve unil the new year

BlindKitty Tue 03-Sep-13 18:56:49

boo of course no 'real' symptoms but plenty of 'made up ones' haha. Glad you had a nice time in Devon and hope you are perfectly rested!

solars Sept 11th (bad omen?) although we actually got engaged on Sept 11th as well so maybe a good omen?! Not holding out much hope but at least I can say I've tried it!

maybe I love your optimism

Right, I'd better go for my accupuncture burning £20 notes session. Lets hope I don't run any pigeons over on the way this time!

keepitgoing Tue 03-Sep-13 20:54:29

Ooh musical that's great!

boo devon is almost cornwall, so you may need to poas despite k not being very big...

ControlGeek Tue 03-Sep-13 21:07:14

hawthersssssss!! hinkyhonk even grin I remember you! So thrilled you will are considering trying for DC3, will be lovely to have you on the conception fred. I will be doing my IVF stimming in January, so you never know grin

boo is there anything you would like to tell us? You were very close to Cornwall, you know and you know what happened to you there last time!

maybe no coronaries please, we are not equipped <eyes the first aid kit futilely>

No news here, other than I think we may have missed the boat this cycle. MrG just can't get used to shorter cycles, he needs a really long lead-up to get his mojo going. Me, I'm just panicking because my calculations for January were all based on long cycles!

keepitgoing Tue 03-Sep-13 22:15:05

Is he still on the HGW? wink I think the effects lessen so maybe give him a month off it?

Crikey, hopefully close doesn't count shock grin

ControlGeek Tue 03-Sep-13 23:55:57

He is keep, apparently it is still helping, he comes and goes with taking it - always at least 2 a day though. He has other issues clouding things at the moment.

boo Don't worry, I think the border has magical properties and you will be fine grin

ScarlettInSpace Wed 04-Sep-13 09:14:17

Quick post before I get ready - big brooking today please for the interview!

hi to hink, hopes kitty hasn't got bruises from boob squeezing yet...

Oooh from last fred fox aloe vera is indeed vile, but I have lost 8lbs since Thursday so worth it! And I figure if it was alcoholic I've drunk worse blush
