Hi there

You Will ovulate again but possibly not for a few weeks. After my first mc was first period didn't appear until 35 days ish later. Lots of women get pregnant before the next period comes and you may too. Id recommmend a hpt two weeks after your mc completes so next.Monday maybe.

I do wish you luck on your journey x

Yep you'll have to wing it for a bit until you've had a proper period. Be aware your cycle length may shift a bit, be kind to yourself. You may find like me that you fall very quickly again after a MC. It took me a year to conceive the first time (MMC) and 2 months the second. Best of luck and look after yourself. The MC board is great if you need support.

Quodlibet - I haven't done a test yet. It only happened mon/tues. sad Am going for a blood test at epu on thurs so hoping they'll confirm hormones are getting back to normal. Might also try a hpt too.

OhBuggerMe - that's why I was a bit confused, its not a period so does it really represent the start of your cycle. We'd been ttc for quite a while already (15 cycles), hence my wanting to get started asap & I didn't really want to have to wait until my first period to start. I guess we'll just have to wing it for now & start charting/opk's again once af arrives.

Each time I've had (3 times ) I havent counted the mc as a period, as its not so id possibly forget counting this month until a proper period arrives.

Also, sorry for your.loss I know too well how it feels. Be kind to yourself.

Hi there

Sorry to hear you have miscarried - it is horrible isn't it?

Unfortunately there's not really a way of knowing what cycle day you are on as a MC can leave your cycle a bit wonky initially and it can take a while for the hormone chain to settle down and for ovulation to happen again. Have you had a negative pregnancy test yet?

A quick question for anyone who knows. Following a mc how do you know what day of your cycle you are on? Do you count the day you mc as CD1? Want to start ttc again asap so need an idea of where I am in my cycle.
