I have 2 DDs, a 2 year old and a 4 month old. Would really like a third soon - would it be bad for my body to get preg again so soon after having a baby? I had an easy natural labour.

I am not breastfeeding (was rubbish at it unfortunately) so periods back again - is there anything natural I can take to get hormones back in balance after having a baby?

Also ovulation pain - got preg with DD1 the day after I had O pain but with DD2 it was a couple of days before the ovulation pain. I thought once the egg had come out it was too late to get preg? I can't be bothered with all the ovulation predictor things (very expensive too) so I use the ovulation pain as a way to know when I am fertile. Any advice on this?

Am 36 now and difficult to find time to work on ttc with a baby and a toddler so figure I will have to try and do it a bit more scientifically this time.

Are you insane or just sleep deprived??!!! Cos if you're not, you're going to be both very soon if you have 3 DCs so, so little!!!

Probably a bit crazy, yes, Though DD1 has been sleeping all night since she was 2 months old (though is a bit of a difficult little madam in the daytime and has no daytime nap) and DD2 sleeps from around 11pm to 7am and is so far an easy, placid baby (although so was DD1 until she hit the terrible twos)!!

Re: ovulation - sperm can live for up to 5 days inside you, egg only lives for 24 hours. So when you think you will be ovulating soon, start DTD as much as you can. After ovulation, just do it as much as you want to, it's shagging for fun then wink

Your hormones should be stabilising naturally as you're not breastfeeding, maybe start using a period tracker app to monitor your cycle. There's some excellent free ones. Also consider using OPK'S - I got a ton of cheap ones off amazon which seem to work fine.

Agree with Vortex I think you're crazy - but if it makes you happy then go for it smile
