Hi everyone,
I know this is a very personal decision, but I am wondering what other people think without my emotions attached!
My dh and I are keen to start ttc, we wanted to start in Jan but put it off because he was away from Feb-April with work. He is due to deploy in early July for 3 to 4 months. We keep saying it is more sensible to leave ttc until he gets home from that deployment, but another trip away looms in Jan for him, and as time passes, more deployments and trips away will always come up in his job, he spends about 6 months or so each year away from home just now.
Part of me just feels like we could put this off forever if we wait for the right time when he will be home for ages. And that's hoping it doesn't take ages to get a bfp! But, a deployment is different to other trips, the worry is ever present. So I don't know if actually that is a better one to get out of the way first! He will deploy again next year though, but we don't know when. And we will be moving about 800 miles south next summer.
We are both in our late 20s, and this would be our first. There's no rush, but I don't want to wait!
