can you have a temp dip on cd8 if you don't ov until cd16?

Hi,

Having a bit of a panic. This is only my second month of tempting this time around for ttc but in the last year I have always ovd on cd16. Loads of ewcm normally from about cd13.

This morning I had a massive temp dip (36.46 yesterday and 36.19 today). I was really cold when I woke up and I am hoping that will be why as we haven't bd at all yet this cycle.

My temps have been between 36.35 and 36.50 so it is highly likely that the next 3 temps will be above the coverline but I am sure I haven't ovd. I always get a +ive opk the day before ovulation and then a fainter line on the day of the temp dip. But no sign of any line at all and I've definitely had no ewcm this month yet. Always get loads of cm so I would definitely have noticed ewcm!

Please tell me that you can have a dip without oving because I don't want to have missed a whole month!

Yep, you can get all kinds of random dips for a multitude of reasons.

Thanks so much ladies. I am 39 in June and like all of us who are ttc, every month is precious, I would be gutted to have missed it... fingers crossed it was down to the socks

Mine are all over the place - only second month of temping too so not worried... Yet

My phone app is charting the temps. It puts blue blobs for where it thinks my temps are right and white blobs for where it doesn't think they sound right! Five days into this cycle I currently have three white and two blue!
