This is really just to pass the time of a 2ww. I can't test until at least Sunday and although I know I can't possibly detect any symptoms until at least then (or if not after), can you lot please come and tell me what "symptoms" you watch out for?

I've heard stuff about a runny nose, grumbly tum, headaches etc etc and my rational side knows that these would be either coincidental or just imagined at this stage- but would help me pass the time!

So, what vvv early pregnancy symptoms do you look out for?

RubySlippers77 Thu 21-Mar-13 22:06:20

Bunny - sorry to hear that - hopefully next month!!

Really hoping my tests turn up from Amazon tomorrow. If not I may have to go to Tesco and buy a cheap one, can't stand all this imagining/ experiencing symptoms any more without knowing for certain one way or another! After all without knowing I can't yet blame my general absentmindedness on baby brain.....

NathanDetroit Thu 21-Mar-13 22:34:05

Wait & see Bunny, but that could mean all sorts. fingers crossed
Can I add unquenchable thirst and sense of smell to the list of symptoms. I really do wonder what's going on if it's not a BFP on Sunday. :-/ Good luck all, only three days to go...feels like i'm counting down the hours.

Oh bad luck Bunny damn our effing periods.

Loved the link smile <dashes off to bathroom with hand mirror>

Bit emotional here too. Both ds1and 2 being particularly cute and lovely at the mo, they are 8 and 4 and so desperate for a baby. They don't know about our plans of course but knowing how much they want another brother or sister is making me a bit weepy! Ond or other will ask at least once a week if we could "get another baby in our family". Waaaah! Tissues all round.

Hello Symptom spotters!

Im now 10dpo and all of a sudden have very watery CM.
It is NOT sticky... not thick... not white... just clear and watery! yesterday it was quite mucous-like (literally snotty SORRY TMI) all day and now its shifted and is really thin, clear and watery.

Whats that about!?

Getting a lot of twinges and buzzing/vibrating type feelings down below (odd!) which is pretty strange as well.... however AF is due very soon so it could just be AF on the way.

Bunnygirlie Fri 22-Mar-13 08:18:50

Tummy pains this morning so the evil witch is def on her way, maybe early sad

Meemawandmoonpie Fri 22-Mar-13 09:39:03

Ah and there was me thinking unquenchenable (sp?) thirst was just me! I can go all day on one glass of juice, I don't drink tea, coffee ( or much else... Yes, just like a camel) but yesterday at work I finished nearly 3 litres and just couldn't quench it. Now, couple that with the weird 3 hours of eyeball watering cramps mid month, the 2 episodes of dizziness and a slight tingly nip (just the one) I'm now thinking hmmmmm....

CatPussInACrownOfThorns Fri 22-Mar-13 11:03:39

Well I've got a funny taste in my mouth and I feel sick. AF not due for 7-10 days so might be pushing it a bit, even for me! confused

IrnBruTheNoo Fri 22-Mar-13 11:44:52

AF due 10th April but I'm feeling more nauseous by the day. This is horrendous. Getting the cramps on and off.

TobyLerone Fri 22-Mar-13 13:27:49

If you're due on 10th April, would you even have ovulated yet? You might have a bug.

IrnBruTheNoo Fri 22-Mar-13 14:33:55

I have irregular cycles TobyLerone. I don't ovulate at the same times every month unfortunately. It can happen at any time.

IrnBruTheNoo Fri 22-Mar-13 14:35:57

By checking an ovulation calendar, apparently my most fertile times are meant to be between 21st and 25th March. If I went by that logic then I'm either ovulating now or just about to.....

agendabender Fri 22-Mar-13 18:02:01

I'm out sad AF over here. I'm completely shocked by how excited I got though! Maybe I'll try a serious conversation with DH about having a child on purpose!

RubySlippers77 Fri 22-Mar-13 20:30:01

Well, I caved in & tested today when I got home - BFN. But now I'm still thinking that I'll keep testing till AF starts. It's more than likely a no but I keep wondering if the POAS test wasn't sensitive enough (AF not due till Sunday) or whether drinking 3 litres of water today might have affected the result...!

NathanDetroit Sat 23-Mar-13 14:22:37

Sorry Bunny. :-(

Good luck Ruby, it's the first morning urine you need!

Symptoms seem to be coming and going here so we'll see. Regroup tomorrow!

Meemawandmoonpie Sat 23-Mar-13 16:06:45

Caved in too, BFN. Strange cause I still 'feel' different. Oh well. Onwards!

minicc Sun 24-Mar-13 09:26:07

Feeling a little disappointed- can feel my period is coming today hmm had what I thought was IB on cd 20 but alas, had more cramps and brown spotting today. Bleugh, it's sooooooooo unfair!

Meemawandmoonpie Sun 24-Mar-13 10:20:42

Is pink spotting a sign? As opposed to red or brown blood. After doing the test yesterday and it being a BFN I noticed some spotting, very pale pink but def there. Put in a pad just in case the witch came early. Nope. Maybe I tested too early.

EasterBunnyGirlie Sun 24-Mar-13 10:36:01

meema I'm not sure, I've had pink spotting the last few days, AF due tomorrow and I usually have brown goo the few days before. Haven't tested though, I still expect the witch to arrive and will not test till she is late late late!!!

minicc Sun 24-Mar-13 10:36:47

I had v pale pink spotting on cd19 and thought it was a positive sign. Not so sure now?

Meemawandmoonpie Sun 24-Mar-13 10:44:11

Fingers are well and truly crossed for everyone. I personally dont think I am pg but my body is definitely up to something. Ive had awful lower back ache all day yesterday and I feel it today so maybe am coming down with a cold or something. Ive got one more test and if AF doesn't rear her ugly mug on the 29 th I'll test again.

EasterBunnyGirlie Sun 24-Mar-13 11:05:38

Spoke too soon, spotting has turned to more than spotting sad

CabbageLooking Sun 24-Mar-13 11:06:00

Hello - please may I join in? Am due AF on Thursday. Feeling run down, tiny bit nauseous, phlemy and headachy but that all just sounds ill to me rather than pregnant. Have 2 digital tests sitting in the cupboard and it's going to take ALL my willpower not to test early!

Meemawandmoonpie Sun 24-Mar-13 11:09:07

Welcome cabbage, great name!
Sorry bunny x

NathanDetroit Sun 24-Mar-13 11:26:17

BFN here. :-( May have been too early, but not really sure. The symptoms do seem to have gone away a bit so perhaps my PMS for this month went a bit off the scale. Good luck all still to test.

RubySlippers77 Mon 25-Mar-13 08:18:55

Nathan - horrible isn't it - I'm having period pain but as yet no AF - due on today. Tested yesterday just in case but BFN sad

Bunny - sorry to hear that - fingers crossed for next month!!

It's probably a bit of the Monday morning blues too but I'm feeling quite sad about it even though we weren't really TTC. It's made me think though that actually we should (I wandered onto this website in search of some advice about symptoms!) so I'll be ordering some Conceive Plus and opk's & will probably be back on here finding out how best to use them...
