I took a test this morning - BFN after 1 minute, so gave it to hubby while I got ready for work and told him to time another 3 mins - still BFN, the test I used said give it another minute if nothing after 5 mins, but we were rushing around and forgot until another 5 mins had passed... at which point there was a very definite, but very faint BFP. The test said not to read it after 10 minutes.
I don't feel pregnant... anyone got any experience of this?! What does it mean? I don't think it was an evaporation line.

Test again in a day or two.

Personally, I've never seen anything more than a grey evap line if I have looked at a test past the reading time, so I'd be cautiously optimistic.

Cautiously optimistic Grin I can do that... not sure I can wait another couple of days before taking a test though! Hmm

Test again with first morning urine tomorrow if you can't wait. What colour was the line?

I drove myself a bit mental with looking at tests in the bin. I found it helpful to set a timer for the window!

I've just taken another test... I'm sooo impatient!!
Anyway. I put the oven timer on for 5 minutes, and when I got back to the test there was a definite, very faint BFP line!!
I only managed a very faint line when I fell preggers with dd1who is now 21 months.

Fucking hell. Grin I think we've bloody done it!!
Fingers crossed for a sticky one please...

Congratulations!! its so exciting getting a positive test isnt it. Took my dp and I 4 years to conceive and boy were we over the moon when we got a positive. I didnt feel pregnant at all at that point (3 weeks) and i said to my mum wish i felt pregnant like having morning sickness or something!! well low and behold the next week started with the awful morning sickness. My mum laughed and said just to me to be careful what you wish for!

I would probably do another test tomorrow but i would be impatient. Have you tried the digital test (think its a clearblue one) which tells you how many weeks you are and reads either "pregnant" or "not pregnant" ?

Be warned, those digi tests aren't terribly sensitive, so you might want to wait a few days if you are only getting a very faint line.

Sorry - I only get sporadic chances to come on here!
I've not done a digital test - still have another 3 tests to do of the other variety yet! I am feeling more pregnant by the second, and eating and drinking enough to sustain a small island. I'll test again in the morning and see if it is any darker. It was exactly the same when pregnant with my daughter, just a faint little line!
The pregnancy before that, the line appeared the second the wee touched it - but that was a twin pregnancy (mmc) so I suspect the hormones were stronger.

Need lots of fingers crossed for a sticky one this time as I have something called a bicornuate uterus which puts me at a higher risk of most unpleasant outcomes.
