Hi everyone.

I've had an Implanon implant for 2 and a half years now, due to be taken out in October, but I have been feeling really sick for the last week or so and am wondering if I could be pregnant. Does anyone know if as your implant comes to the end of its life, does it become less effective? I also know that a year or so ago, a few women were getting pregnant while having this implant and they changed it to a different brand so not sure how effective it actually ever was!

Any help would be great- also (obviously) going to do a pregnancy test as soon as I finish work!

Charlotte

What was the result Charlotte?!

I'm not sure with regard to the end of life thing with your implant but like with all contraception it only covers you for say 98% of the time. Have you googled the problem?
