Hi Ladies, not been on for a while been so busy! How is everyone? I ov'd yesterday (I think) been dtd every other day. Feeling positive this month smile

Ariel21 Wed 20-Feb-13 08:18:03

Think AF has buggered off now so looking forward to getting on it for another month (so is husband luckily). Think he was quite relieved I didn't get pregnant first try, as is enjoying himself! Happy shagging this week peeps. eats cupcake

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 08:24:21

aw good news pixie smile bless him x

QueenofClean Wed 20-Feb-13 10:38:20

AF has arrived only 6 days late! so I'm fallen off the feb bus. Roll on making a Nov baby wink

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 12:03:44

Quiet I had tests done as part of a pre-pregnancy MOT as it's been a long time since my last child and I've had a few health probs in between. It helped that I don't live in the UK - I have private ins so can pretty much have what the hell I want, when I want smile
Technically this is the first month of calculated trying - but prior to that we've not used contraception for ages but obviously haven't hit the jackpot

Aww No! Queen hope the evil witch leaves asap and you can get back to business ;)

Good luck to all Dtd and those waiting x

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 12:42:10

aww queen sadat least you know whats what now though xx fx x

Pixie001 Wed 20-Feb-13 14:41:50

Hello loves! Good work, how long dpo will you keep dtd for?
dondon a pre-ttc MOT sounds like a great idea! Shame they don't do it on nhs as a normal thing
Sorry to hear that queen <passes hot water bottle>
Thanks honey it's such a relief, just hope it keeps going like this and he doesn't go doubting himself!

QueenofClean Wed 20-Feb-13 14:50:29

Thanks everyone <grabs hot water bottle & paracetamol>

Pre-TTC Mot sounds good. Where in the world are you? Stateside?

DH won't know what's hit him when this period has finished lol! Will take him back to when we conceived DD2 - we were lucky then as we caught on first month.

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 15:28:23

You put your feet up Queen and get that hot water bottle working I hate cramp I'm in Poland.
Lmao at your Dh comment - feed him well, plenty protein, he's going to need it smile

Pixie I know, I find it a bit redic at how long some couples have to wait before being sent for the even the most basic of investigations.
I was also getting a bit hmm about my age as I reach the dreaded oh my god you want a baby now grand old age of 35 this year smile and wanted to make sure I was fit enough inside and out (hence the gynae appt and trans vag scans)
So because I have a dp who is studying advanced biology at the mo - along with all the health and hormone tests I had done. his paranoia ensured I also now know that I'm still immune to rubella, not immune to toxoplasmosis nor do I currently have it and have no immunity to any hepatitis virus confused smile
I noticed here in Poland, while there are young mums, there's a higher percentage of first time mums around my age and many above and the Dr's in general are totally not concerned about the age thing, not at my age anyway.

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 15:46:26

Forgive me bus buddies for I have today, just now in fact, sinned

I swore to myself I wouldn't bloody symptom spot but.......
TMI sorry - from waking up this morning I was quite crampy then had diarrohea, it continued a few times but I'm feeling a bit better now. I know it's nothing I've eaten and that it's not a stomach bug as I don't feel ill with it and I NEVER get just 'it' alone.
Technically I didn't intend to symptom spot but I typed in google
' can ttc cause diarrohea?' or something like that... and it came up about how it's an overlooked symptom of very early pregnancy shock I so wasn't expecting that.
I'm still going to try and forget I've read it but just wanted to confess.

barebranches Wed 20-Feb-13 17:30:16

*wakes up at back of bus
Coughs and splutters... complains... grabs tissues and passes out*

Pixie001 Wed 20-Feb-13 20:31:21

dondon leave google alone! Ha ha, way too tempting to symptom spot. Obviously I do hope diarrohea's a good sign for you tho smile. In cycle 1 I convinced myself that thrush meant I was pg... Was so suprised and gutted when af arrived!

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:06:35

It wasn't an intentional symptom spotting mission Pixie I swear. I thought I'd google to see if I'd...--not sure what I thought actually-- maybe overdosed with sperm or something? smile too much penis is maybe bad for your bowel?? smile smile I swear I'm not using Dr Google any more.
Aww boo! to thrush tricking you too.

< Passes some soft delicate kleenex and some vicks to Bare and helps her to her nice comfy bed>

barebranches Wed 20-Feb-13 21:12:40

thanks Dondon... very grateful for the soft tissues.. the kitchen roll was chaffing my nose.

cant smell the vicks!!! cant taste chocolate.... all pleasure in life is gone...sad

there will be no DTD tonight... just hope earlier on in the week was enough....

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:15:06

ive tried hard not to be so paranoid today hasnt worked
but been abit distracted since this afternoon, dd had a scan cos of recurrent urine infections, and i got a call today to say shes got a kidney defect and gotta see a paediatric specialist... something to do with her tubes being too narrow and sending urine back the wrong way... and she has a bladder infection too... so havent been on much of today. hope every1s cool xx

dondon33 Wed 20-Feb-13 21:33:34

Oh so sorry honey hope your dd is ok. I hope it's something that can be fixed, monitored, grown out of. Take care x

No worries bare kleenex rule when your nose is sore. Hope you feel better soon x

honey86 Wed 20-Feb-13 23:10:44

she should be ok, just gotta give her more antibiotics til she sees the specialist. i was told it could cause kidney failure if untreated but hopefully we found it early as poss.

thanx tho fx to al x x

dondon33 Thu 21-Feb-13 02:54:32

It's always a worry isn't it when they're ill and here we are planning to add more of them to worry about smile
Hope the specialist appointment hurries through for her and you, take care x

honey86 Thu 21-Feb-13 07:47:59

Day 4 of cbfm saying high! I think it's missed it in there somewhere, as I felt mild cramps Tues.
Unfortunately no more darts trying to get the.bullseye - I picked up that lovely winter vomiting bug, OH working 7am til midnight at mo.
My bets are on a bfn.

setayharas Thu 21-Feb-13 10:30:02

honey86 Thu 21-Feb-13 12:47:00

aww s sorry to hear that... fingers crossed it works out xx

Pixie001 Thu 21-Feb-13 12:54:13

delia sorry to hear you're poorly. That thing is really terrible, hope you recover quickly. Flippin heck, they're long hrs for you OH! 4 days does seem quite a long time, I thought those things were meant to make it clearer not more confusing! At least you got poorly now rather than a few days there's a chance you may have hit the bullseye!
honey hope antibiotics help your dd and that it's not long before specialist appt. I don't know too much about temps but it's not over til it's over so they say!
setay pleased to hear you have your referral and hope appt comes thru quickly. Enjoy organising your wedding, wish you and df all the best. X
