Hey everyone I'm new to this site and don't have a clue what so ever what I'm doing,I don't even understand all the meanings of what people write except ttc and bfp lol so any help would be so much appreciated,I don't even know after writing this if ill be able to go d it again!!

So anyway I'm 28 and have been trying to conceive my 2nd child for 8 years, after numerous tests both me and my husband had we were told he had low sperm motility and that was why we couldn't conceive!! Well over the last couple of years after insisting they test me for things we found out I had pcos and that I don't ovulate!! To add to this we finally got to see a gynaecologist on Friday and have learned that actually my husbands sperm count is all above average of what they expect and that the doctor was completely wrong which as you can imagine we were happy but so angry at the same time !!

Anyway the lady we saw Friday is wanting to start me on clomid but before hand I need to lose a little more weight so asked her to give me 3 months to see how far I get.

The last 8 years have been heart wrenching to say the least but I'm just wanting to find some comfort and people who understand me and my situation and to just learn of others experiences with using clomid and what the success rate is as I am at the point in my life where I believe it will never happen again for us even if we do try this, I do try to stay positive but after so long it has faded away!!
A long thread I know and big apologies, hopefully I will learn to use this site in no time but we will see, look forward to hearing from someone :))

This might help www.babycenter.com/community-help-abbreviations

I was determined not to use the silly abbreviations but afraid I've slipped into it!

Its so hard to stay positive, I know. DH thinks these forums only make me worse but I do find some comfort in them and feel more empowered with what I learn x
