Mine is due the same day farmers. Smile

Hurrah, I knew I couldn't be the only one Grin

I find waiting the hardest bit. We have been trying for ages but this cycle we started using an ovulation kit as I've had it with BFN's and DD is already 2 and I'd like to get cracking with the stretch marks GrinAngry

What stage are you guys at?

My period's due on the 25th but i'm not expecting to be pregnant as i have a none hormone IUD in place! The only reason i'm even considering the possibility that i could be pregnant is because of the weird symptoms i'm having....bubbly/crampy tummy, lower backache, thick creamy white/pale pink discharge, headaches, nausea and a sore itchy left breast! The only thing i usually have before my period is cramps the day before so i'm slightly baffled!! Is anyone else having/had similar symptoms?? I'm not sure how i will feel about the result either way at the moment.....but i've got my everything crossed that you all get the results you're hoping for when you test! xx

I am due on 29th, but I think I ovulated early this month - I have got symptoms which are either pregnancy or VERY early and odd PMT: hot, sensitive boobs (as opposed to the usual tender), slight nausea and v windy Blush

I may well test at the weekend and see what happens.

Choub, that is the best description I've read. Bubbly! It definitely feels that
We're going to test on the weekend, no idea about my ov date but am feeling a bit like I did before - butterfly like bubbles, slight sickness, stretchy womb feelings, severe irritability yest Grin

Hurrah new people to POAS with...Grin

Choub 'Bubbly'...I'm going to steal that!

Can anyone answer this question for me: When I was using the ovulation sticks I should get a window of several days to DTD, right? However I only got one smiley face out of 14 sodding sticks. Is this normal? It would also seem I am ovulating 2 days later than I through. So that explains quite a bit!

My BF called me earlier, she's just been for her 12 week scan. Baby died at 6 weeks, she's had a silent MC. I am so gutted for her and DH. Now she needs to wait for the MC to happen, sounds just dreadful. Sad Sad

Farmers - this is my first time trying. I tested this morning a week early and it was of course a BFN! Am very impatient.

So sorry to hear about your friend - she could have the miscarriage moved on if she likes?? I donn't think I could wait for nature to take its course.

Sorry about your friend Farmer I've been there a few times, she has my full sympathy. Thanks for starting this thread. Are you still having af pain?

Hi everyone, I'm 5 dpo today. While it's too early for symptoms with my previous 3 pregnancies I had some kind of "alert", a change to my body scent (noticeable by my OH) with the first, implanation bleeding with the next, and a sharp implantation twinge with my third. Each time different, but each time well before 10 dpo so I'll be symptom spotting like mad. The earliest I can test will be Wednesday, af due anytime from Wednesday to Sunday.

Farmer re the opks, they pick up on a hormone surge that occurs before the release of the egg, but the egg might not release, so keeping testing thrughout the month can be a good idea. It can take up to 4 hours for the surge to be picked up by poas, and if the egg was released straight away then you have 24 hours approximately, because that's how long the egg survives. If you only poas in the morning then that might not leave you enough time to dtd. On the other hand, the egg might be released later... i.e. you just won't know. When I've got pg it's always been one off events on the day of the opk but that's my body, and as sperm can live for several days I don't know what that means in terms of when I actually ovulated.

Anyway, phew that was me being long winded, never a good way to introduce yourself!!!!! Blush Good luck to us all!!!!!

On the theme of body alert, is anyone else feeling a tad irritable? I feel totally fine in the day, bit information the eve dh is can't do anything right. Definitely hormonal, and unheard of for me. Is this a symptom anyone else has? Just had to walk off for the second movie we've tried watching tonight as I just can't sit in front of violence. Maybe brains pre-empt the nurture thing? Poor guy.

Thanks twenty that's good to know. Worrying but good to know Smile No further pain here. Felt a bit sick earlier, but i'm sure that has more to do with clearing 4 inches of snow off the drive this afternoon.

Yes lexi I am horribly irritable. DH has been spoken too nagged severally times already today. I'm sure I can arrange a few more moans before bedtime {hahaha}

Lexi, I had to have a go on the xbox shooting zombies, which I NEVER do, in order to work through the terrible sexism in the mad men episode I watched earlier. And OH is on high alert as I've gone into nit picking mode... but to be fair I do this before my period comes anyway. I did however google about my ovary "cramping" (too strong a word but definitely noticeable) and apparently after the egg is fertilised it travels through the fallopian tubes so I'm hopig that was it and that my dates are off since you can't know exactly when you ovulate and that I'm totally pregnant... (oops went off subject) Lexi, do you normally get irritable or could this be a body alert? Farmer any sign of AF yet?

Stand well back ladies.....I am grumpy as HELL this weekend.

DH got a right ear full yesterday, poor chap. DD also vomited everywhere, argggghhh. And we're snowed in..cabin fever.

No AF yet, but AF pains. Sad

How's everyone getting on?

Had AF-type pains in my lower back since yesterday (AF not due til 28th) and desperately trying not to read into every twinge I feel.

Also trying to decide how early I can test...

I am also due on 28th, so will be obsessing waiting and testing along with you guys. Last cycle I managed to conjure up the full gamut of pregnancy symptoms by eating gone-off pine nuts ...

Hi twenty, zombies - yeah maybe I should steal his xbox for a bit! Double whammy Grin
Sounds like you're looking up as much as me, been all over the Web on searches for signs. I'm not normally irritable, at least nowhere near that, but seems to have settled now. Hmm.
Poas yest, bfn. But waay early, Cd21 and only guessed on ov.
Is anyone else using apps to monitor? I've got at least 3, and a nutrition one now too. Nutty? Me? Never...
Also worked out dtd about 14 times this month, not sure what else can be done!
It's in the hands of the gods I think x

Well, until yesterday I was UTTERLY convinced I was PG, but then someone on her talked some sense into to me but not before I had ordered early PG tests online and today I definitely don't feel remotely PG.

No doubt I will test once my tests arrive, but I'm not holding out much hope.

twentythirteen · 20/01/2013 23:01

The 2ww, it's dreadful. I had a lot of heart palpitations today so what did I do? Of course, I googled it and it's totally a implantation/pg symptom... Of course it freaking is. Haven't we all learned that famous one?! I could probably have a Car accident right now and discover it's an unknown but terribly common sign of pg!!!

Can I join the wait- AF due tomorrow. I think about it and I feel the pain and then it goes. Been ttc for about 7 cycles for DC3- this is the first month using opk which worked with DC1, I really don't think this is the month but am holding out hope and not testing until tomorrow... twenty thirteen -I did actually have minor car prangs when early pregnant with first 2 Smile
