I am in what feels like a tricky situation. From about April to July I was very sexually active with one man. I take medication which can counteract the pill and therefore I used condoms everytime. I did take the pill, however, because I had to for regulating periods. When I was no longer sexually active (partner and I broke up) the next time I would have needed to get the pill I decided not to, as it didn't seem to be working for regulating my periods as I was having them way too often and for long periods of time! Sorry if this is TMI but I also had a lot of discharge when I was on the pill. Since I came off it, I had a period. I've not had one since..I don't know when I stopped taking the pill but I'm sure it's over a month probably more - maybe 6 weeks. Does anyone have experience of this? I have heard that when you come off the pill your periods can be irregular? I quite like it as I used to feel I was constantly on it! But I'm also worried, as one would be. I can't be pregnant. I used condoms and have had a period since. Is it just my body getting used to no pill?!
