'Morning' sickness - how soon?

We're ttc no.2 and I've been using an ovulation monitor so know I ovulated on Friday. Tonight I feel really nauseous.

Couldn't be, could it? Wishful thinking probably...though def very real sicky feeling.

Some people believe they know as soon as they've conceived! Realistically most women wouldn't be symptomatic until after implantation. I started being sick at 12 dpo so about 14 days after the deed I think was 'the one'. Sick that morning, BFP that afternoon!

My first pregnancy was a twin pregnancy - felt nauseous pretty much straight away!

im 9 weeks and have been sick for the last 2 weeks i don't know read 50 shades one week and have a baby growing the next lol
its the opposite to contraception hehe

Kicked in at about 6 wks both times for me although had the odd wave of nausea from around the time my period was due...

Oh wow you've actually dignified my wittering with a response! I was almost embarrassed to check back on this thread and felt a bit daft this morning when I thought how I'd had myself going last night!! I think it's just a case of wanting it to be true so much. However, I did have that hollow tummy sicky feeling today too...fingers crossed! Would really love it to be twins too! And I'm quite envious of anyone managing 50 shades style antics to conceive - we have an 18mo ds so were literally having to drag ourselves into the bedroom during any moment's peace and quiet which usually ended up being whenever we most felt like flopping on the sofa. But needs must eh?

I felt sick from 48 hours after conception every time (three pregnancies, two early losses). But I was hospitalised with severe hyperemesis by the end of week 5 so I think it was a pretty extreme response from the off! Docs were convinced it must be twins and kept sending me for scans in hospital but apparently I just really overreact to one.

I'm feeling really nauseous (ov. roughly 2 wks ago), last time I felt like this was just before I found out I was pg with DS.

Fingers crossed for you! You'll have to report back with any news. I've ordered 30 cheapo eBay tests so I can POAS to my heart's content rather than just hang on in suspense. Everyone needs a hobby!

I'm in a very similar situation, my boobs hurt and are bigger, I'm shattered and feel a bit icky and starving at the same time. However I'm on meds that make me feel sick, my boobs hurt and I'm exhausted before every period.

I ov last thurs, so I'm putting it down to wishful thinking and willing myself pregnant. As I've been very lucky and fallen the first month we've ttc each time! I really really want to be. I bought some cheap tests from £ shop today and tried one out secretly hopeful which is frankly ridiculous considering I've got 9 days till AF due.

I have a feeling I will be tears next weekend and very dissapointed

2nd pregnancy - pretty much straight after conception
3rd pregnancy - ditto
4th (current) pregnancy - almost six weeks and a bit but nothing more yet....

I got a positive (very slim, faint) 3 days ago & it's getting darker!
Although I'm only 3wks 4days pg so I guess anything can happen now (wish I didn't bloody test so early now)!

This pregnancy from 10 dpo, 4 days before AF due. Last pregnancy from 6 weeks (mc at 7ish weeks). First pregnancy from about the time AF was due.

Sadly not, did test this morning and got nothing but the is only be 3+3 so maybe pushing it! Still got a few symptoms except boobs don't hurt anymore. Who knows but the nearer to AF I get the less I think it's going to happen!

I started MS 12 days after conception. Didn't think for a minute that's what it could be as it was after dinner one night so actually was blaming DH for not cooking the chicken properly! (oops.)
When I felt the same the next morning, that's when it dawned on me that it may not be food poisoning after all. That was with a twin pregnancy tho so not sure how it'd have been with just one.

I'm peeing on the eBay cheapies like they're going out of date but nothing yet. 9 or 10 dpo. The tests are sensitive to 10mIU - do you reckon they'd be picking something up by now if there was anything to pick up?

Nausea has lessened but have sore boobs today (keep prodding them to check! [hopeful emoticon]) Just going to keep on hoping till AF appears. Fingers crossed for you too, cupcake xxx

I am now feeling sickly but doesn't look like ms at the moment. Been getting really weird sharp shooting pains through my cervix today? What's that all about then

I think you're still well in with a chance cupcake and I remember having shooting pains v early on in last pregnancy.

I'm just ridiculously keen for it to happen. Was never broody before ds1 but now I know how great it is I can't wait to do it all over again

Well, I've been feeling really nauseated the last few days and I'm 11dpo and BFN now (all my 8 of my previous positives have been 9dpo or earlier). Unfortunately high progesterone can cause nausea too. I used soy this cycle and I think it has sent my hormones into hyperdrive! I actually feel more nauseated now than I would do at 11dpo on a BFP cycle

Normally with a BFP I feel slightly nauseated from around 7-8 dpo. It comes and goes then starts to intensify past 5 weeks, with a peak at 6-7 weeks, then fades from 8 weeks. Every single pregnancy whether I miscarry or not.

Blimey. I puked vigorously from 7.5 weeks first pregnancy, felt sick and then horrific ms from 5 weeks with my second (twin) pregnancy.

Thanks but having some cramps tonight and feeling generally spotty and hormonal so just wish AF would just hurry up and put me out of my misery so I can drown my sorrows in a bottle large glass of gin wine.
