Want to start trying again,mc left me broody...also have 2yo

I really want to start trying for a baby. My ds wasn't planned but im not complaining I love him :). I don't want there to be a huge gap as there is 17yrs between me and my brother. He will be 4 next week, I love my brother and he is fun but I hate the gap so much. I don't want there to be that between my little one and his sibling.

I had a mc in April, my friend was pregnant at the same time so as her pregnancy progresses I keep thinking 'i would be at this milestone now' . I'm mostly passed the upset and now I am just extremely broody...

I really wanted to back to work once my ds was back at school but now I am wondering should I do this now while I still have the chance, before it's too difficult to work round two kids...

My partner and I don't live together either so that's also a downside but he is a brilliant dad and is always there when I need him... He is broody too but ultimately is leaving it up to me. He jokes that if it does happen they will be called either Christian or ana!

I'm sorry for your loss.

If I were you, I'd start ttc now. I understand why your friend's pregnancy is making you broody (I only had my little girl 14 weeks ago today but I already feel a little envious of pregnant women ). Everything you've said makes it sound like it's the perfect time for you to try again.
