NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads
Fly on in and make yourself at home in our obviously secret lair :)

Outfit: can't be nothing but pale green (top), pink (tights) and white (cape), for obvious reasons

Superpower: Ovaries of Steel - nothing can get in, or out Hmm - and faster than lightning

Great fred Faithy

Nice. Like what you've done with the place.

Outfit: skin tight leather (think Anne Hathaway in Batman Rises) and ridiculously high heels. And the badger fur, peacock feather trimmed head piece. That may become optional, but I'm v attached to it

Superpower: a master in the art of delusion illusion. I have the uncanny knack of "just knowing" that I'm diffed. Except I'm not (or maybe I am.... No. Really. I'm not). I am magnificently resistant to all forms of medical interference. And I can kick the actual arse out of any metal fucker or bearded old weirdo.

I think it goes without saying that we can all fly, it's, like, compulsory for a superhero Wink

4 hours to go - taking a half day - then time to collect the shoes and hopefully buy some clothes for holiday. The cheque has come with the insurance compensation :) so I have a generous budget!

Have cocked up not organising codiene on time so need a Drs appointment. Will mention about antibiotic reaction at same time sp don't look like its just the memory lapse that's brought me in!

In my slightly pissed state I forgot about the outfit between my fairy wings and spiderman feet/hands. Clearly that has got to be a tight body thing, holding all the excess BMI in without wobbling, in red with pink hearts (spiderman=red; fairy wings=pink)

Where are you of to faif? And YAY for holibobs shopping with budget - I am a sale shopper all the way. And I have just realised the outfit I am wearing at the moment (except for bra and pants) is over 5 yrs old. Maybe shopping too...

I am being doting aunt for lunch and meeting sister and her children in the park for picnic and football :) so really I ought to do something workwise now. But hey, I am here now.

It sounds like I might need to get a look at this flame thing, it seems to give people olympmania and otherwise I'll feel left out (but have lots of time to do useful things).

Tell me about you maybe yes, maybe no diffedness sinky!

And someone seems to have kicked my druid-droid overnight. It seems to lessen (thank god). The cd3 scan was undignified in a whole new way. But hey...

Sending lots of Olympic superpowers to all your sperms and eggs. May they jump the hurdles, vault the EWCM and swim to victory.

Off to Weymouth drizzlekicks! Got Olympic tickets for the sailing Monday and making a week of it down there. Really looking forward to getting away :)

I am mostly clothed in supermarket clothing Confused but with the new budget will look to replace some naff clothing with nicer, slightly better quality stuff.

Lovely faif - I like sailing, I like the sea, will it be nice weather? Is this the camping trip you mentioned before? Foggy head is working again, yay! Good plan to make a week of it. SB and I are off to the seaside this weekend. Just for the weekend mind. New job starting next week (and monitoring scans).

Yes blondie are you fat? Grin Didn't queen pop into the last fred towards the end? Hope you're all well. Nice to see you too dot. But do come back to tell us your outfit?

PS nothing wrong with supermarket clothing, although some nice things are just GOOD. New job is a bit posher, so I might need to do some survive my first few weeks shopping soon. I have enough for the first week. But then they may get tired of my fat-smart trousers. (When I last job-hunted seriously I was a size 16, I interviewed in them feeling uberconfident because they are too big :) ).

This of course was before the hospital scales told me, maybe I am smaller in circumference but I am heftier as well :(

Well I already was fat... But I think I definitely look preggo now. I think that's the reason pg women rub their bumps, all this time I just thought they were being smug.

I have got well fat feet though. And fingers like little sausages. (Of course I embrace it all with wonder joy & gratitude).

Heard the heartbeat yesterday, nice and strong. The midwife said it was nice to see such a healthy normal pregnant woman. Which meant a lot as I am very conscious of my age and BMI so it was lovely to be described like that.

I still read the BESH thread avidly so I am keeping an eye on you all - hello new kicking one.

My superhero outfit is a black full length burka. No-one would want to see a fat pregnant superhero in Lycra. It also gives me powers of invisibility.

I am fine. Currently in a session about benzodiazepine prescribing! I have my 20 week scan next week so I am quietly menkulling over that. I always have the fear that they are going to tell me something is wrong with the baby.

In other news we have progress on the house. Hopefully we will complete on 4 September Smile

Aha blonde who knew Wink. In that case I may start rubbing my belly. Although that is the only non-fat bit of me. I've googled until I have been told (a few times) that actually my waist is healthy... Massive yay for the healthy normality and the strong heart beat!!

Fingers crossed for a good scan next week then, dor. I am sure it will be fine. And YAY for possible house completion. And that is well before you're due, so you might actually start your family in your own place. Hurrah!!

Incidentally when my fat SIL was pg, she actually never looked pg-ers. That was odd. We met when she was about 36 weeks (and again when the little person was born, obviously, at 37+2 or so) and you honestly could not tell where she was hiding the baby. Now you can tell, because part of her has gone missing and he is waving tiny little legs about in a cot/pram/etc.

Right, I am actually in quite a good mood, maybe I should do something constructive!

Congrats blonde and thanks for the welcome.

My superhero cape is a giant Novorapid insulin pen and (get this) filled with fertile spunk! I whisk around from city to city, turkey basting ladies trying to conceive and being their complete saviour!!

I am blue from head to toe and I fly and also am magically predisposed to seeing leprechauns. I can also tell if someone is actually pregnant, thereby mitigating the symptom spotting and insanity that women go through.

Please note my selfless choice of superherodom is only for this thread. I may decide to harpoon all symptom spotting women in the next thread.

My DH messaged me and said :"You are the worlds best wife. I looked at you just before I left and felt so lucky".
I got all teary eyed. Then I asked him what he wanted Grin

i'm here faith...I did pop in briefly near the end of the last thread to say my midwife booking in went well Smile and to whoever asked, my 12 week scan in on the 8th of August so not long to wait now!

I've been feeling really wiped out and nauseous which has mostly passed and I'm feeling much better most days but still have the odd one where I feel dreadful. Feels naughty to wallow when I am ill, seeing as this pregnancy is very much wanted - but then no-one wants to be vomiting at 4am.....

My costume and superpower will be revealed shortly.

I think I'm spotting. CD27. Am I going to have a 28 day cycle for the first time in my life? Is it even worth entertaining myself with the possibility that it's implantation spotting for the predicted 31 day cycle? I just feel depressed already at the inevitable disappointment if I do. Though that might be a sugar crash from haribo for lunch...
