Morning All

Just needed a sympathetic ear for a moment before I move on to next month. Woke up to discover my AF has arrived :( . I'm only on cycle 2 of TTC but somehow I seemed to nearly convince myself id be pregnant! (I've been waiting TTC with my DH for about 3 years now - he needed to get his head around it all!)

Ah well - cycle 3 starts today - come on egg and a super swimmer!

I'm really sorry to hear that NicJayne. I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I was sure this time it would be it - felt sick all day y'day which I never usually get pre-period. Did a test this morning (AF due tomorrow) and it's a big fat no. I'm really down about it.This is when self-employment and working from home becomes a nightmare; I don't even have any colleagues or pointless meetings to distract me!!

You have my hue sympathy, fingers crossed for you for cycle 3!!! xx

Oh, and NicJayne - like you I've been waiting a while ttc cos of a reluctant hubbie... took him a long time to get his head in the game IYSWIM!!! Hence the fact I'm being rather mean to him this morning. Poor bloke. But I'm in a mean, blaming kind of a mood!!! Not fair and not wise, I know. But I spent all day y'day (stupidly) fantasising about baby names and how we'd tell our families... it's a long plummet down to reality. Unfortunately poor DH may have to take a bit of flak today.

Thank you emeraldgirl you have made me feel better! It's a comfort to know you're not the only one feeling crap!

I've got a secret baby names list on my iPhone Blush!

Maybe your test today was inaccurate if you aren't due til tomo?

Like you say it's a long fall to reality! Ive spent the last 2 weeks convincing myself of symptoms, and planning how/when to tell people. We must be crazy - but at least we're not alone!

If only our DH's had got a wriggle on! How old are you if you don't mind? I'm 34 but wanting my first latest 35 as def want more than 1!

Xx

I'm 35 nicjayne... I'd like more than one as well but at the moment it looks like enough of a mountain to climb just getting my hands on one!!!

We are crazy, but am hopeful that only temporarily so... Wink

Did a test again today and still negative; now of course am convincing myself that is test's fault (clearblue digital, may not be very accurate one? waste of money???) as I just can't seem to let go of the last 2 weeks' fantasising just yet... :(

Good luck next cycle... :) xx

Feel your pain NJ!!

I'm in cd12 of cycle 4 ttc no 1! Obviously I thought I'd get pregnant as soon as I stopped my pill being as so many apparently fall whilst on it Hmm

I honestly though I was pg this time round didn't test or anything just felt different? The crappy feeling will pass and you'll be back it soon Smile I've ordered a fertility monitor so got that to use next month

Emeraldgirl hopefully we won't be crazy for long! Damn those negative tests! I really do hope they are wrong! Thank you for the good luck - sending you lots back!

Pinkie I too use a monitor - helps me feel more in control! I also discovered that I ovulate 2 days earlier than the usual day 12 in my last cycle. Useful to know when planning for sex! Oh god that is the most unromantic thing!!

I felt different last time too but it wasn't my cycle ( she says positively!)

Good luck both xx

I ovd (I think) on cd 28! Then came on 15 days later, long cycle so hopefully when we start the monitor we'll have a better idea, it is a bit unromantic but needs must! Only a few days a month it's like that thankfully Smile
