I am ttc#2 and ds is 6.6 years.

I had ds young so that is why there is such a age gap.

wondered if anyone that will have a big age gap, wants to join and share ttc experiances

Our youngest is 5.8 and we are currently in our first 2ww of trying for another. This would be our biggest gap so far but the other ones (3.7 and 3.11) have worked well for us.

Our youngest is 4. I just MC for the 2nd time. Based on the amount of time it took to fall pregnant this time round, following my last MC, youngest will be 6 when I succeed in getting pregnant again. I'm still optimistic, and really relishing the prospect of having time with baby whilst older children are at school. (20 month gap between DS1 and DS2 - that was hard work)

twolittlemonkeys one of the best parts about having a bigger age gap was having time with new baby while older DC were at school.

Yeah think that will be a good thing greendragon, also the fact that ds will be able to be more involved with the new baby and also kinda understand that sometimes I may be busy with the baby and he can go of and play and that I will play later

My son is 8 and we're ttc no2. I think the age gap will have it's positives. :)

Never actively ttc before so all new ground despite already having a DS.

Hello - same here. Have ds 6.6 and now ttc. Have been ttc since Sept/Oct 2011 but had a mc in January. Also just been diagnosed with underactive thyroid a couple of weeks ago.Feel like it's never going to happen argh!!!

Good to share experiences with some of you girls, bit of handholding

Hi DS almost 4 now slightly regretting the bigger gap. Had mc in Feb and am sooo fed up with everyone's comments 'time for another one' 'need a sister/brother for no 1'

now have finally decided ready for another and am impatient and scared it wont happen now :(

My DS is 7 (8 in November) and like many have stated, our first was a 'happy surprise' so very excited/ nervous about trying for second. We just started this month. : )
