Hiya everyone just looking for some advice.

I have been having difficulty with regards to fertility after having my DD almost 3 years ago, period are next to nothing now as not had a proper period since march last yr and docs have ruled out PCOS and my thyroid is ok after a sub-total thyroidectomy in 2012. I conceived my DD on the 3rd round of Clomid 50mg. I was prescribed Northisterone to bring on a period to start taking Clomid. I started to take Clomid again on 19th January for 5 days (CD 2-6) and I think I ovulated last week. Since the weekend I have been suffering mood swings, dizziness, extreme tiredness and since this morning I have had terrible pain in my left breast, so much so I wish I wasnt working so I could take my bra off it is that sore. I was wondering if it is possible for pregnancy signs to appear so soon? I am going to the GP tomorrow for my Day21 bloods to be taken so I'm not even close to being able to test. I cant remember having the sore breast(s) when pregnant with my DD. Could I be pregnant or is it possible the uncomfortable pain I am feeling is all in my head?

lauraloo xx

I had breast pains when I got pregnant with my DS. It started about a week after OV. I did a pregnancy test ( First response) 12 days after OV and it was positive. I never had breast pains like this before my period so I did think at that time it was a bit strange.

I think it's quite common to get breast pain in the luteal phase? It could just by symptomatic of a successful ovulation :)

Last cycle, first one TTC, I thought I might be pg because I had breast pain but worked out it had started at around ov time (& wasn't pg). Obviously my body decided a symptom of pg was a lovely new sign of ov just to be helpful!!! Perhaps when you're TTC you become more sensitive to such apparently 'unusual' signs, but fail to register them the rest of the time.

However, this month I kept saying my sore boobs was ov & ignored it (as much as poss, leaning over bra-less last night was agony!!) and I've literally just got a faint but there BFP - estimate that at 11dpo.

I also had sore boobs as a sign of pg with my DD.

So, could be a sign of a successful ov or an early pg sign, or both!!!

Good luck :)
