strenuous exercise during 2 ww: could it be risky?

OK, I'm paranoid, but I'm in the 2ww and worried that strenuous worksout, e.g. step aerobics, running etc might just stop implantation taking place. After all, it seems like a lot is going on in there!

What do the rest of you think? Are you exercising as normal?

I was used to a lot of strenuous exercise on a nearly daily basis when I fell pregnant and was told by docI could carry on things like spin classes but not impact stuff like running but as it turned out I eventually had to stop anyway cos I was so flippin sick! Then after 3rd trim I started swimming regularly which was great. I think if you're used to exercise then keep exercising.

I've always wondered about this. In the 2 weeks after ov I always worry about anything high impact - don't know whether I am being ridiculous though.

Well, it is totally paranoid as it is the first month of trying, but you just imagine the tininess of the fertilised egg trying to implant and then just think you're better off staying in front of the telly!

I'm sure you're right Bimble, it's what you're used to, but there is that niggling doubt..

Anyway I went to step class plus swimming, plus harsh Soviet-style massage today (live in former Soviet republic), so we'll see.

best luck to all others trying to conceive!
