Now I do know that this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question really, because every woman is different...but any input would be welcome.
TTC 2 years and not a whiff of a pregnancy. Under the hospital for several months now and had bloods, ultrasound and HSG. The latter identified I have a blocked left tube and hydrosalpinx. Next step was lap and dye. On the day of my pre-op assessment I found out I was pregnant. 5 days later i started bleeding and lost the pregnancy.
Today I have received a letter advising me of the next step, which is to remove me from the surgery list for three months to see if I conceive again in the meantime. If I don't, then I'll be going in for the lap and dye.
It has my blood test results for Beta HCG from both the first test which was CD 32 (my cycles are between 30 and 34 usually) and also the one done 5 days later, on the day I started bleeding.
The levels are
CD32 23iu/l
5 days later 6iu/l
Is that first number really very low? I have absolutely no idea. All I was told when they phoned me with the first result was that it showed I was in 'the very early stages of pregnancy' and told to go back 5 days later for a repeat test.
