Ok, so we're not SWIing just yet but DH and I have decided that we would like to start trying for DC2 fairly soon and we're at the "if it happens, it happens stage." Even though we're not completely focused on it right now I want to make sure I've done everything I can to give DC2 the best chance of being healthy if it does happen sooner than we think.
This is what I've thought of so far:-
- Folic acid - check
- Non-smoker - check
- Alcohol - drink very little at the moment due to still BF DS (thinking about weaning soon as don't fancy tandum feeding but that's a whole other thread), however will knock the odd glass of wine on the head.
4.Caffine - do have a few cups of tea/coffee a day. Is the advice to cut it out completely now or would this still be ok?
- Diet - not bad, but will make even more effort to eat lots of fruit/veg/proteiny things as possible.
Is there anything I've overlooked, or any of the above I should be doing differently?
Thanks
