I was on Microgynon from age 16-19 and just before my 20th birthday in June I came off in May and after that began having periods every 42 days. Then had a one off 28 day cycle and now my cycles vary in length between 28 days up to 42 days. I have never had irregular periods before I was 16. I am taking folic acid, I drink no alcohol (my husband does but not loads), we don't smoke, we take zinc supplements and have a very healthy lifestyle. We are making sure there is lots of sperm present at estimated ovulation- I'm finding it hard to time it. What can we do to help conceive??? How long will pill take to finally leave my body??

I have polycystic overies syndrome which made my periods iregular then they eventually stopped i have 2 children i found the more i tryed to get pregnant the more it didnt happen my advise would be to stop thinking about wanting to fall pregnant have regular sex every 2-3 days especially on your most fertile days it can take up to 1 year for a healthy couple to conceive so try not to worry.Have you spoke to your Dr they may be able to run some fetility test to make sure there is no medical reason as to why you are not falling pregnant,

Hope this helps x
