I would say it depends how accurately you can predict your ovulation. It takes I think 24-36 hrs for the egg to pass through so possibly, possibly not!

Sorry I can't be more definitive but I would say it could go either way.

How did you detect ovulation? Sometimes the opks can turn positive, as the body gears up to ovulate, then it is possible for ovulation to be deferred for until a few days later. So, in answer to your question: yes, there is a possibility of falling pregnant after ovulation as predicted by an opk. Good luck, hope you get the result you're after! Grin

Missed the window I think! 2 DPO was last night and hubs came to bed late :O( Roll on next month!

I'm not really sure when I ovulate as only been TTC and tracking for a month but according to the ovulation calculator I OV'd on Saturday (if I base this on my last cycle which was 33 days). I also had a pain in my lower belly which makes me think that I OV'd on Saturday.

What is the ovulation tracker? Is that the iphone app? If so it could be very unreliable as it is only based on statistics, not anything your body is actually doing?

If you are temping then generally by the time you see a temperature rise it is too late. (The temperature rise is detectable about 24 hours after ovulation but the egg only survives up to 24 hours.) However, everyone is different so if you are lucky you may still have a small window after seeing a temperature rise!

If you know that you have definitely ovulated then no you can't still get pregnant. Conception almost never happens as a result of sex after ovulation, the sperm can't get there before the egg dies. If you are temping the answer is no. If you have been using ovulation tests, then the surge says you are about to ovulate soon but doesn't say for sure when. For most women it is the next day after you first get a positive. So two days later may be too late, or it may be only just in time.

If you are just using online ovulation calculators then you can't really know for sure and having one last go 2 days late is a good idea to cover all bases.
