anyone get a BFN on FR 6days before AF due and go on to get a BFP???

thats it really... Iv been crampy the last few days did test sun BFN and again today BFN but iv been feeling really sick the last few hours and got a bit excited... Am i deluding myself???

Depends when your period is due? I got the faintest of positives 10DPO with an internet cheapie, which I think is sensitive to 10 mIU/ml, not sure what FR are but I think about the same. In my last pregnancy I got a BFN at 12 DPO then a BFP 14 DPO, so I think it all depends when implantation takes place. Best of luck

oooh, I'm in the exact same position EatingLemonCheesecake. I couldn't wait and did a FR test yesterday which was a disappointing BFN but am hoping it could be wrong. Plus, I'm not even sure I was testing six days before AF as I've come straight off the pill and started TTCing. Am trying to be good and not test again for a few days. Perhaps we should hold out a while?

thanks for replies :) TopC we are in pretty much the same boat! I got implant removed to ttc got af few days later now making myself sick with worry/hope etc hope it'l be two BFP this day next week for us x

I got a BFN the week after I was due and thought I was late to stress, but took another when I was two weeks late and then got the BFP. So you never know!

Know exactly how you are feeling. I got a neg with a First response on Sat, first time I've ever taken a test. been trying for three months but the last week I've been shattered, feeling sick, really vivid dreams etc. Got a big No on Sat but was due on today and....nothing. Don't know when to retest, thinking I might do one tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us all

and er... so much for holding out, I did another test today and it was still BFN. That's it though. I'm not buying any more tests until after the weekend when AF should arrive. She can kiss my butt.

I did a test today and got a BFN -I am 3 days over due and usually regular as clock work. Not sure whether to cry or not. Will re test in 3 days. Fingers crossed for you all x

Abbicob I am the same, either 2 days or 3 days overdue, depending on when i ov'd and BFN this morning!!! So frustrating - have ordered some more FRERs off tinterweb so going to wait until they arrive, possibly next Tuesday, but I refuse to waste spend any more money on tests!!! [hgrin]

thank you for using all the bad luck Golden, only BFP's from now on :) iv managed not to poas since tue but am seriously having withdrawls! I actually get all knotted in my stomach with the urge to test and stood in boots for 5min staring at tests yesterday (even though iv 3 in my drawer!) until i gave myself a mental slap and walked away... Girls im serious symptom spotting, i feel really pg (could be all in my head of course cause i want it to be true...) but il be soooo disappointed if af arrives... Best of luck to you all x

Anyone taken any more tests ladies?

I'm now on day 30 of cycle and used to have a 28 day cycle but after coming off the pill it could just be a longer wait til AF. Plus I tested this morning and it was a BFN. I really should stop. I don't really feel anything at the mo, no feeling that AF is going to come or that I'm preggars. Sigh.

ah sorry abbicob :( iv had VERY FAINT lines on a cheapy and a fr but not a proper pink line so going a bit demented :( i feel so sure im pg it just kills me not getting a proper ans from the sticks! Only time will tell i know but its just hard to wait... Anyone had any good news??

Eating If you had a faint line on ANYTHING surely that's a positive?! Friend of mine had an EXTREMELY faint (as in tip in toward the light exactly at a 43 degree angle and then you see the shadow kind of faint) line on a FR and was pg. She got the Clearblue digital the same day and it said 'pregnant' which reassured her.

I was the same as fishpants friend. Did a FR 4 days before AF due and got the faintest of faint lines that I had to stand in front of the window and hold up to the light to show my husband. Got a clear blue digital and that immediately said I was however many weeks pregnant it thought I was! Fast forward to now and I'm 23 weeks pregnant. Good luck, it sounds like good news to me

I had a BFN on CD24 and was expecting AF a few days later and then got a BFP on CD27 (clear blue digital) and then took about 5 more (cheap not clearblue digital) tests in the following 2 days and had the faintest of faint lines to the extent that I would ordinarily have thought they were negatives if I hadn't had a BFP. Eventually the lines started becoming clearer..

Eating I would be sooooooo tempted to buy the digital one if I were you. I'm sure when the time comes for me to POAS I will buy - in order: First Response (to test like a madwoman 6 days before period due)...then 2 days later supermarket brand...then day after that digital 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' to stop the whole 'is it a line?!' game.
