New thread for some serious metalling. We are ramping up the amps and churning out some Metallica, Nirvana, ACDC, Stone Temple Pilots... with the occasional 90's rave music!! Grin

If you have miscarried and are ready to TTC again, come and join us in the WTF cycles with the odd VIP ticket to the padded cell for some serious mentalling (now known as Metalling)

Welcome!

poppy i have carried your breakfast tray over from the last thread. we have Brew porridge with optional extra fruit, followed by toast and jam. all courtesy of poppy Smile

well i am CD27 and 15DPO. It is crunch time today as i am sure that if AF doesnt come today then i could be in the next list!! I woke up feeling nauseous this morn but it only lasted about 10 mins Hmm on the decaff latte just in case!

poppy was saying to IQ and Marathon on the last thread that the run up to March is a really good time to be PG, as you are all toasty cosy with your bump over winter. I am hoping that i am pg this month as it would be an exact tandem with my PG with DS. He was due 3 June but came 2 weeks later. My bump was starting to take shape over the winter and it was lovely Smile

I have brought the stats over too:

TTC
Summerbird73; TTC#2; cycle 5; AF due circa 23 Sept
Eve34
PieMistress; TTC #2, cycle 4 (?); AF due circa 25th Sept
ShimmeryPixie: TTC#1, cycle 1 post MC AF due 22 Sept
Poppyjen TTC#2 Cycle 3 post mc AF due ?(4th October ish)
Babysaurus: TTC#1, Cycle 1 (?), AF hopefully NOT due around 11th October.
Pebspop: TTC#1, Cycle WTF??? AF due sometime in the next decade!!

BFP: (insert your due dates etc here)
BlueCrane TTC#1 EDD 31st May 2012
MandaHugNKiss TTC#4 EDD 18th May 2012
MissGiraffe TTC #2 (1DD, 15yo) EDD 10th May 2012

Well done summer thanks for the shiny new thread Smile

Will repost my last post from the old thread as I x-post with you...

poppy Brew porridge, toast and jam sounds great, but I may need to add some prunes to the mix as the pregnacare and little bean are causing a similar problem to that which IQ suffered from Blush Everyone always says to chill and relax and it'll help but I know that's easier said than done...hopefully the spots mean there's hormones busy at work about to do something!!

shimmery thanks for the congrats...it's still sinking in TBH though with boobs getting ever more sore the reality is starting to hit! Any sign of AF for you this morning? Have you tested? Sorry to hear work still so so manic for you!

summer how are you doing? Still hanging in there? No signs of AF yet? You keep on moshing away!!

pie are you in the mosh pit with shimmery and summer too? How are you doing? Hope you've all got your matching June hoodie's on? Sending lots of PMA into that metalling room today!!

manda how are you feeling today? Really hope you're doing ok and managing to keep up the PMA...I'm managing to stick with it at the moment though each day feels like an eternity...still only 4+2 today...told myself this morning that when I get to 5 weeks I'll be an 8th of the way there so you're well past that now Smile

missg is it this weekend you're down to London for your hen do? Have you worked out your excuses yet? We've decided to tell parents next weekend and 2 sets of close friends, but will then wait until after 12w scan before anyone else though after the 8w scan I may acidentally slip up with a couple of my girlie friends I'm sure bodypump is fine providing you don't overdo it! I went to the gym for the first time in months on Saturday and was v careful just in case I was pregnant (didn't know at that point) am going to try and go swimming on Saturday as really want to get into some form of regular exercise and figure if I start gently now then I should be ok!? I used to go to the gym regularly but my membership has expired and I don't see the point in renewing it just now in case I can't use it v much!

IQ hope you're enjoying your week off and taking things easy over in IQ land!

pebs, baby, eve

Work still quiet so more time for sorting my desk out and doing filing catching up on mumsnet and trying to look busy

Hi Ladies! Just marking my place! :)

Only 9dpo here, can the days go by any slower! Haven't got a clue which way this month is going to go for me as I feel 'normal' today .

summer If I were 15dpo with no sign on AF then I would deffo be testing! I've never made it past 11dpo without spotting or AF so 15dpo would be a sure sign! How long is your luteal phase normally? TEST TEST TEST !!

Hello hello just marking my place, thanks for the new thread Summer Smile

You have nerves of steel - I am a compulsive 10DPO POAS-er, to make it to 15dpo is, in my opinion, heroic Grin

pie and poppy if it wasnt for DH i would have tested at 9DPO Grin my LP is usually 14/15 days so i am on full metalling alert now. however.......i think i have AF pains Sad hanging on in there though but i think i am out this month Angry

Am chuckling at poppy's heroic description! I fully agree Grin I am a compulsive 9/10dpo tester too. I didn't manage this morning as was in a flap to get to work and DS to nursery but have a day off tomorrow (pre-wedding bridesmaid beautification preps!). Do you think you need to use FMU if testing at 10dpo?!

summer it's so annoying that pre-AF and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar! I think it's sounding very promising for you myself and you will be wearing a June hoodie with pride! :)

bluecrane not sure if i congratulated you CONGRATULATIONS!! you must have got bfo while i was away.

summer hope your af pains are implantation or stretching. Get testing girl! i hear op's on these kind of threads get extra special luck!

poppy can i have some breakfast - forgot mine this morning!

my temp went back down this morning so no ov for me. i am looking forward to trying acupuncture to see if that works. i hope the consultant next week does something for me as well. it's driving me mad! defo need that padded cell.

dh thinks we should wait a few cycles once i get back to normal before ttc. i know what he means as i would hate to have another mc because my body wasn't ready but omg i hate my body at the moment. i could have been on my third cycle now if af had come back when she was supposed to. i was hoping to try after my consultant appointment on tuesday if all was well.

thank you for your encouraging words ladies but this OP is not getting an BFP this month. Just been to the loo and AF has got me Sad Angry TMI alert but i even had to throw my knickers out Blush still it is quite liberating just wearing some opaques and a tampon!!!!! Wink

i am still wearing the June hoodie though, i have just worked out if i get a BFP next month it is still a June baby at 28th!!

screw the positive thinking - i need a bottle of wine tonight!

Thanks for the new thread summer So sorry af got you but as you say you are still in the running for a June baby and hello Wine !

I just don't know how I feel, blue. I'm 5+6 today, 6 weeks tomorrow. No appetite. Exhausted (but ds2 still waking regularly throuh the night for his boob). I just... need to know everything is ok and that not really possible at this point. They'd see a sac and probably fetal pole but unlikely to see a heartbeat yet so - poop. I have to wait.

Speaking of poop, I think DS2 has/had rotavirus - 12 explosive watery poops yesterday, a very sore bum. Fun.

I should eat something... blurgh. Nothing, but NOTHING sounds good.

sending the hugs manda LO's can be so delightful with their pooeyness. DS's key worker told me they had had loads of fruit yesterday as DS didnt want to eat his pasta for lunch. Cue the most delightful nappy at 6pm - thanks nursery!

take it easy manda and hang in there, as you say; any scan now wont show a heartbeat (even though it is there) you only have a couple of weeks to go Smile here have an extra helping of porridge

Welcome pixie - sorry you find yourself here but I hope we can offer you a shoulder/hope/inspiration Smile How long since your mc/are your cycles back to normal yet?

After saying nothing sounds good I suddenly just decided the evil that is McDonalds sounds good... just sent DP to get it for me before I lose him until this evening (we get to spend more time together than most due to his self-employedness... but once he drops my foul fat/carb combo food he's pretty busy until late this evening.

Hello manda.
M/c was in April (I was 10 weeks with an anembryotic pregnancy =positive test result & sac grows but no fetal pole or yoke sac or embryo but body thinks something is there so keeps producing pregnancy hormones).
Thankfully cycles seem to be back to normal now...seems to have taken ages.
What about you?

pebs, wishing thanks for the congrats?still getting used to it Shock but the tiredness, waves of nausea, sore boobs and constipation are making it feel quite real Blush

summer grrrr Angry that AF got you, not sure how comfortable I?d be at work in quite the same predicament as you Wink But yeah to still wearing that June hoodie Smile and enjoy the Wine with gusto ? you definitely deserve it!!

manda I think it?s all pretty draining, I think the tiredness and nausea doesn?t help with trying to stay PMA as it just wears you out esp with still BFing your DS2 as well ? the padded room?s pretty comfy though so feel free to curl up in there and hide for a while! Grin for the McD?s though ? enjoy!

pixie welcome Smile please come and make yourself at home, help yourself to some cake and Brew there may even be some left over porridge if you fancy Hmm Sounds as though you had the same happen as I did with your MC?we didn?t find out until 12w scan and ended up with an ERPC Sad but hoping for better things this time around!

pixie i am also trying for my first. 'luckily' as my second mc was a late one i have been given tests to try and find out why it happened. usually they only start testing after three consecutive mc's. i am going for the results on tuesday.

glad your cycles are back to normal - mine are being a nightmare, going to acupunture this week to see if they can sort it out since the gp wasn't interested.

Hi Pixie welcome! As others have said, I am so sorry you find yourself here but I am very pleased to "meet" you Smile I am ttc number 2 (I have a DS who is 18 months). I had a mc in May at 6/7 ish weeks and then a chemical pg last month. I am now on CD32 with no ovulation yet Shock so waiting to start my 2ww, and hiding in a dark corner of the padded room ready to start metalling with everyone else Grin

Afternoon all

So sorry I have not been around, really not been feeling it recently. I do wish you all the very best of luck but I am just find this all so hard.

DS has started school and it really couldn't get any worse :-( The after school club won't have him as he isn't settled enough so am fucked basically. DP is working away again next week for the four week in a row and I can't cope anymore.

Af is due tomorrow so have that to look forward to DTD 3 days before ovulation we think but not feeling it so not expecting anything to happen. To b e honest feel like giving it all up as a bad idea :-(

Enough of my woe's hope you are all fantastic - fingers crossed for more bfp.

Chin up and all that
