Sorry to hear about AF Golden, but welcome to day 1 of your pregnancy!
I'm completely shattered, and still worrying about everything and anything. Being in the "AF go away, for at least nine months ok?!" support group is bound to distract me.

Who is soon to POAS?

Is Ben and Jerries a good food for preggos?

mmmm, I love scones & cream

Ah Golden sorry to hear that. But you are in here now. We have the bouncers on the door, so she won't be bothering you again.

Dream still not keeping anything down? How about ice lollies?

Musical what's worrying you lovely? Ben and Jerrys is very good I have heard. All that calcium and stuff Grin

Little I do too. Must say I am more of a raspberry jam fan on mine than a strawberry. Though I did have some amazing elderflower jam the other day. Mmmmmm mmmmmmm

maybe - That's great to hear. I will be cracking out the B&Js then, once I've finished working (no rest for the wicked!).

Posted about it on the sister thread, but I've been experiencing bleeding for the past couple of days. Not too heavy, but enough to worry about. Coupled with abdominal pain, which is of course a baaaad symptom, sent me into worrying overdrive! Ended up in A&E last night (recommended by a doctor at my surgery over the phone), where they took bloods and samples and said that they couldn't see anything wrong. Despite knowing that bleeding affects lots of women, and that the abdominal pain is probably a consequence of another symptom (constipation or bloating? lovely!), it doesn't stop me from going into worry overdrive!

I'll shhh now, and go back to brooking no argument for us all :D

Oh music lots and lots and lots and lots of women have bleeding in early pregnancy (including both me and my best friend) and everything is absolutely fine. Keep breathing! We all brook no argument together and that means that when any one here has a little wobble the rest pick up the slack :)

maybebabyR · 15/09/2011 22:02

Oh bless you, you poor thing.

I know it is no consolation, but my SIL had bleeding in the first few months, and my little niece is as perfect as perfect can be!! You take it easy though, feet up and lots of B&J Smile

Ooooooo shiny new thread!

Golden I'm sorry to hear the evil witch showed up, what is her problem!?! Can't take a hint clearly. You'll have to explain the new situation to her in slow measured tones, and make sure she doesn't make the same mistake next month! A few squished rats should communicate the message in no uncertain terms Grin glad you're staying positive. Enjoy the alcoholic first two weeks of your pregnancy!

Can I just say that I LOVED the work stories, and the TripAdvisor thread is hilarious!! Many thanks for the referral!

Thank you Golden and maybe :) I know there are a myriad of reasons, and that it's so so common, but that doesn't stop those of us who are worry obsessed from worrying! It's the not knowing what's going on that's driving me mad!

I've only mentioned it a couple of times and heard so many stories about it happening (including from DH's boss, who is the only person in RL who knows!)... they are comforting in a strange sort of way, in that they're real life examples of it happening. It's one thing reading it on Dr Google (badbad Musical!) or in books, but real life adds weight to the "it happens and it's not necessarily the end of the world" argument :)

I loved the work stories too Scream - haven't looked at the TripAdvisor thread yet though!

Well that has perked me up!

Phew, I was up at 2am cooking that for you lot...

Morning! What a lovely new thread! Love what you've done with it - simple country chic is all the rage these days

Sorry to hear the cowbag caught you Golden - it's her last visit for a veeeeeeeeery long time though.

What pee news from you Duke??? Have those sticks been kind to you this morning or are they making you wait a little longer?

Musical am very glad that you're okay. Definitely worth a trip to A&E if only to put your mind at ease. Keeping not brooking those arguments.

Well so much for OH being up for the SWI - he was "too tired" last night after 3 pints and a curry. Grrrr. Oh well, mustn't panic - am only really entering the Crucial Shagging Window today so he has a chance to redeem himself. If he doesn't though I must keep calm and relax and try not to punch him in the face for being a git - we'll get there one day when he mans up and can shag me on demand

I so wish I could cook pies. I've never tried so I might be awesome at it, but can't imagine it. Felt very inadequate watching the great british bake off this week Blush

Morning gals, lovely new thread, love the title!

music you poor thing, its always so worrying, take it easy and the odds really are in your favour, is your HCG still rising?

golden sorry about the evil witch!!
Little update from me: loads of spotting yesterday but no real AF so did a test, extremely faint BFP. Did it again this morning, still very faint but there, DH can see it too.

BUT loads more brown spotting, cramping and I have exactly the same round ligament sort of pain as I did with the early miscarriage. The BFP is so faint and its a first response test and I am 12 dpo. I know AF is coming properly and so this is a chemical. Argh!

Really beginning to think there is a problem and my luteal phase being short means my body is evicting the poor bean before it has a chance to stick.

Not sure what to do with myself now!
